I personally, NEVER wear a duster or a cloak.(okay I wore a burgandy Spec Ops Duster for a day, but I called it my smoking jacket)

The black clothing thing is amazing. I'm always so happy when someone wants a look other than the black.

I got out of my way to dress for the occassion. Crafting in my store? A Smock is usually the way to go. Heading to the cantina to meet some ladies or have a few drinks with business associates? Suit jacket all the way.

Thereare really not a lot of creative players out there when it comes to wardrobe. My typical "working" outift when I'm out and about?

White Shirt

Large Pocket Pants colored like jeans

White sneakers.

I have seen one other person in the game dressed this way...its such an obvious casual look.

Tailors please, when you find that player who wants a custom outfit, encourage them...encourage them to not be a clone of every other duster-wearing fool in the game.

I keep getting on my friend's case because she runs around in the wilds wearing a Grand Ball Gown. Please, get some pants on, don't mess that dress up in the mud!

I really don't sell that many dusters; most of my clientele consists of entertainers and they usually want something more tailored and fitted (if male) or skimpier (if female). I never wear a cloak or duster myself; the only time I do is to make an entrance when I'm dancing (and since you can't wear them over a leotard or fleshwrap, I don't do as much of that as I used to).

I have been working on "standard" camo patterns for the camo pants and matching or complementary patterns for the spec ops duster (the idea is to have an "off the shelf" line on my vendor that the tuff guys and gals can just grab on the run without having to have me fit them specifically with a matching coat and pants), and so my sales of the dusters will probably increase. This isn't as easy as it sounds, btw--the palettes on the dusters are different enough from the full palettes you get on the camos that the two often don't match well. This is all part of my plan to cut into the all black look, btw. The customer wtill be in combat wear, but in a lovely mix of black, white and gray (for arctic patterns) tans and golds (for desert patterns) and greens and browns (for forest/jungle patterns).
