There seems to be some because some of us have been treated badly in the past. Personally I have nothing against armorsmiths unless they are rude to me. But my prices are not going to be really cheap. I really don't want to be in the schematic business (let others do that!) and I don't think I should be pressured to sell for less than the going rate for the resources that I am using.I think this is fair.

For me the issue is simply how I want to spend my time. I won't sell components because that's just more fiberplast that I have to harvest. I'm not a fan of harvesting. I'm willing to spend time finding resources for my own tailoring because I love making clothes, but I won't spend my time mining large amounts of materials for making components, which I don't find fun.

Especially now that I have an alt... hmm... do I want to place harvesters today, or do I want to go hunt on Dathomir. Usually harvesters don't win. Without selling components I have the luxury of only mining when I can easily find a good concentration nearby, rather than being forced to scout out inconvenient places every resource shift.

I make the schematics only... I tell them I only have 10 experimentation points though. No idea what to charge yet... friends get it free though.

Oh and those saying they will sell only the crates of them... just remember the Armorsmiths will probably have better resources on hand than what most tailors have to make them, as far as having high stats for armor. They'll also probably have a ton of them. I know the Fiberplast and Leathery hide I'll be using is some of the best for armor that has been on my server, and both are a few months old. I have 3 types of Wooly also that I would use that are all quite a few months old and the top 3 hides that have ever been for armor.

But it is up to us to decide whether to make the segements themselves, sell schematics or do nothing at all. Remember we are here to play a game and do what we think is fun. We are not here to serve any particular segment of the population. I will make a several crates of the best of these wookiee pillows that I can and if they sell, great! If they don't then its no big deal. Other tailors can do what they wish.

I don't have anything against AS in general. It's when they not politely ask that I make them a schematic, expect me to go to them and get it for free that I have an issue Then they start ranting to me that it only takes 2 seconds and why should they have to pay me since I'm using their resources, blah blah blah.
So you can see where that would generate some animosity. But I give every AS their own chance and have found some that understand how to treat people. Especially people they need something from.

So how much is everyone charging armorsmith for them? With clothing experimentation +15, I'm thinking 50-100k, when i reach +20 i'll go with 150k.....Armorsmith are rich, i don't think this price is too high..

I don't think this assumption is very fair. There are many like me who are just starting armorsmith and I am poor as he11. Overcharging someone because you think they may be rich is lame.

I see the point of your statement, of course i'm not gonna overcharge newb armorsmith or any unknown master armorsmith on my server. I'm looking at an idea price range for the popularMA as general.

Link to the armor paddingschematic I madefor an armorsmith on Gorath, and his final Wookie armor stats. Not too bad. I asked for 50k and he tipped me 75k, not bad at all.
