You can make them?
And if i try to create that cool glowy ball, it says: No test prototype.
Yep I've already made 10 segments for a friend who is an Armoursmith. Don't know if I want to make them to sell to just anyone though, I prefer to use my Wooly hide in something more tailor-ish.

So don't complain that you are not making much profit and don't go out saying that armorsmiths are not rich just because you are selling cheap. Not saying that they are, but I really don't think that your argument is valid.

Just to point out the view from one of the 'evil armoursmiths, richest overcharging SOBs in the galaxy' - which seems to be the common misconception.
Armoursmiths have the highest turnover, not the highest profit. Personally I make less than 25% profit on my suits since the price of resources are so high - for every 100k I make, 75k goes back out almost immediately in resource purchases.
Its my own personal crusade to make people see the very important distinction to try and lower the prices of everything (resources and armour) across the board.
Im making enough profit to live off... im not going to get into an argument with anyone, but im not selling 'cheap' the prices im selling at are about average for eclipse - 120k for unlayered composite, 300k for layered composite, and 75k for ubese.
I know for a fact that these prices are cheap compared to other servers (I read a post from jaatowaals, the armoursmith correspondant who says theyre getting 400+k for suits of ubese... thats just rediculous)
Most 'quality' armoursmith resources sell for the 50cpu plus mark on eclipse, very old ones reaching 200cpu or more. Each server is different of course, I know a fair few can get 800k -1 million per suit of composite, im just hoping that those people who are planning on selling these segments keep individual server economies in mind, and dont just say 'someone on scylla is charging 150k for a schematic, so I want that on eclispse' just because theres something new and people want to profiteer as much as they can from them.
Quality uppers Base effectiveness, and nothing more.

I don't think this assumption is very fair. There are many like me who are just starting armorsmith and I am poor as he11. Overcharging someone because you think they may be rich is lame.
