The patch message says that the auction bids on the bazaar will be raised to 6000 from 3000. Does this only apply to auctions or will instant sales be increased also? If it's only auctions then I don't think it will affect shops much at all because most people won't really want to wait a week for their item I wouldn't think.

As far as the bazaar goes, it seems like, for some reason, there's been almost no "hologrinder dumping" going on on Lowca's Corellia. I'm usually the only person listing anything in Kor Vella's clothing bazaar (and not with incredibly great regularity), and even Coronet only has 2 pages, of about the quality and range you'd expect before the holo-mania. I suppose we're either just lucky, or the local tailor holo-grinders just lock themselves in closets to do their macros and don't care about selling stuff because they've got 100 million in the bank from some past duping exploit or somesuch....

I must be lucky then I do all my bazaar listings in Coronet and there's only one other person who's put a cloak on there (that I've seen) in the past week or so.
My .02cr is that it won't have that big of an impact on player stores. People that want clothes will still want a good selection and/or a tailor that knows their stuff. But that's just me, who's never had a vendor in his career.

This was as of a couple of months ago. When I was a novice going up the casual line first, I was making a living largely off selling cloaks for 2k/ea on the bazars of Coronet, Tyrena, and Dearic. But then everyone started selling em, and the price went down down down. I was starting to see them for 500cr or so from some pretty prominant tailors, so I quit selling them and switched to other products that sold just as well but were a lot less prominant on the bazars.

And on coronet, at that time, I never saw less than half a dozen cammos and half a dozen spec ops dusters on the bazar at any time. Obviously the prices on those were dirt cheap, so again, I wouldn't touch those.

I actually tried to check prices this morning on coronet but couldn't because the bazar was too laggy, lol. Oh man, that's what people are going to have to live with, with this vendor nerf.

One really surprising thing to me has been Dantooine. Here is a planet where very few people are on at any given time, and the bazars are almost completely empty of *any* goods, yet when I put clothing on there a few times in the past couple weeks they have sold almost instantly. And not just fieldwear, but formalwear and casualwear as well, lol. I never would have guessed that.

Personaly i dont bother with the bazzar at all. When i first mastered tailor 3 weeks ago i did pop on 6 items with a waypoint to my store included in the item name but since then i jsut havent bothered, business kicked off on its own and when i reached plannet add items just flew off my vendors, my BE line goes so fast my master BE cant keep up with my orders for tissues and im now looking to deal with a 2nd master BE, so for me its business as usual.... Oh and almost a proper merchant !! 3 lvl in efficiency to go Yipee !

I always check the Bazaar's on adventure planets, and they're mostly empty. I'm guessing people with nothing to do til the shuttle comes are impulse buying
