Anita,
Definitely, once you get to a certain point money-wise (as most masters do in any profession) the incentive to do things "just for money" is diminished a lot.
I've had a ton of luck finding medical suppliers. I actually have 3 different ones. I posted an add in the "doctor's" forum, and this got me my first two suppliers, and the third I got because I made him some clothing with medical healing, so naturally this started us talking. Interestingly the prices that all three charge are almost identical, so these things seem to be commoditized pretty well. But with what pet stims go for vs what the components go for, the markup is pretty amazing. No reason not to do it if you're a BE as it takes very little effort and the payoff is huge.
I make probably 2x more on pet pharma than on clothing, but probably only because I only put on the master tailor tag an hour of so a night, and get behind on restocking the vendors. Demand for pet pharma is just insane though. I devote 2 factories to pretty much making pet stims and vitality packs and still my vendor seems like it's always empty things sell out so fast.
As far as making money selling tissues, definitely agree with you there. I occasionally sell a crate of them here and there, and it's probably the least profitable activity that I do in the game, and certainly not "fun" running around buying up all the meat/bone/hide you can. I really only do it to help out people I know, no reason to do it otherwise.

I'm actually going to give up on BE... i don't enjoy the tell hell, making pets is fun but sooo frustrating (I'm too perfectionnist to be happy with half good ones), and in the end I don't even need the money from the sales, and it's just too many points for just making tissues lol. Going to use that char for hunting instead
Now if I could find a good supplier for tissues on my server... The only one I have found so far charges 4k per tissue, which is ok for the 15/15 ones as I still make decent profits, but a rip off for the 13/13 or even 14/14 he alsosells atthe same price, as it will be harder to sell 13/13 clothes. But again... I don't need the money from enhanced clothing either lol.
