Thread: Point of the Tailor Apron?

From what I understand a better assembly result may give you more sockets in an item as well.

Yah, it looks sexy on you if you wear it w/out a shirt underneath *dons halo* oooooooohhhh!! And I love wearing mine with the refined skirt (matching of course) gives it a really cute "hippie look"

I really don't think its random because I have 4 schematics in my datapad that say crafters apron and all of them are something different.
No, when the schematic item is created and rewarded to you, for completeing whichever part of Jabba's Theme park, it is randomly made into a schematic for one of the four types. The item then stays that type until someone eventually learns it.
I've dealt with many many of these schematics and you get to know all their ins and outs after a while. I've got at least 20 in storage for when I need them.

The simple trick to this is to learn all four concurrently.. always have four on the go at once. You cant learn the same apron-type schematic concurrently (ie: two medic aprons), it wont let you, so simply learn the first, second, third and fourth and you will have access to all four schematics whenever you want them. The schematic randomly turns into whatever is left available.
This way Ive managed to churn out medic aprons pretty much at will, while the architect and tailor (clearly!) dont seem to shift at all and the chef ones move steadily.. but nothing like the medic ones, obviously.
Wrong! At one point I ran out of Medic apron schematics and none of the 15 I had left at the time would work. When the schematic item is first created it's given a type and it's set in stone. They don't automaticallychange to that missing type you need.
This is why tailors are starting to get suspicious of trade forum apron schematic auctions these days. Is it a fresh random schematic or another tailor's Tailor apron cast off?

What did those 15 schematics you learnt turn into? You say they didnt work, you couldnt learn them?Did it let you learn them and not produce any schematic in your datapad? Or did you end up with duplicated schematics? Mine wont let me learn a fifth schematic...
...[snip]...
Like I say, what did the 15 schematics you learnt turn into and did you have them all concurrently? Surely that would have been an issue of some sort.
