I wasn't aware you could have more than one clothing armor crafting device going at one time. I thought you get "crafting already in session" statement?

Yea I get spammed all the time for stuff. I don't mind. I only grind when I'm a few K from my next skill. Hell I gained 1/3 the XP I need for Tailor 2 last night just making stuff for customers. I do pretty good business now that I have planetary advertising.

Hehe those that have delt with the spam for dusters (there are FAR to many Neo wanna-be's in this game I tell ya), you may get a kick out of this Fanta Shokata spoof I did when there was a big thread going around on the dev board.

To grind Ribbed Shirts, here is what I do. Placing the crafting tool in toolbarSlot 12 (Second row, Shift-F1 to use) I created the following macro

This is great. I have been doing this since about halfway through tailoring. I’m now one box from master tailor…yay! I have 6 crafting tools and 6 macros set on my hot bar. On a good roll, I can wrap around and get back to the first crafting tool just as it finishes counting down. The challenge of keeping up with the tools makes grinding seem not-so-bad. I’m not going to know what to do with myself once I get master. I guess I’ll end up spending all my time with harvester/factory/store/vendor maintenance.

BTW, I’ll be happy to train novice tailors (who ask nicely). Tips are appreciated.

My PA hall is just outside of Kadaara (Chilastra), and I will be setting up shop as close to it as possible.

Go up the field gear line FIRST. This is the best tree and the best money making items. Use the bio engineered componants in your bandoliers and shirts to increase sales. Once you can make camos/gunmans dusters, you can start making aprofit. I got field gear first, and it helped me sooo much on my way to Master Tailor, plus the colors in that line you can get away with tailoring I colors because most guys wear black anyways.

Socketed clothing, you need engineering IV in the artisan branch to get sockets until you're master tailor.

I was all over the place with my tailoring skills. But Casual 1-3 & formalwear 1 were my first 4 because I knew I could put things together with those 2 lines that would sell. (bustiers, cloaks, shoes, skirts) Contrary to popular belief I could keep my male customers fairly happy with those as well as the females.

Getting up to Fieldwear III isnt a bad idea either because you get very nice jackets and pants that work in the colors you don't yet have without tailoring.
