I don't make BE clothes in any kind of quantity. Mostly I'll grab some cheapy tissues off the bazaar and make some cheap clothes to toss back on the bazaar for some newbs to get for cheap to keep my skills sharp and give back to the community

Its my great hope (and BE's too I'd imagine) that we get a bunch of new tissues to put in clothes. Right now they aren't real useful outside of the doc/entertainer/ranger rings, but if we had tissues for increasing crafting abilities, or more combat uses, or other skill improvements for other professions, I would probably dedicate myself to them more. I'd still like for tissues to be of equal standing more or less with SEA clothing attachments to give BE's some more use and us some more cool clothes to sell

LOL -- if they make more tissues I will definately have to find someone to refer these people to. I think looking good is useful enough

I don't make BE clothing. I, too, was a BE for a few weeks, and dropped it. I make BE clothing for only a few select friends, but otherwise I don't really want to do it.

You don't have to do something just because it's available to you. If your in-game time is full, it's perfectly fine to specialize. If you find yourself getting bored, then expand. REmember, it's not your job to provide all services to all people.

I sell a lot of BE clothing and I actualy like making it. So far I never did factory run of it eather. My vendor is stocked with clothing enhanced with every tissue available and almost all items that can be enhanced ( except Ithorian) I sell . I don't mind making items that have 5-6 tissues and puting it on the vendor. Those items actualy sell and I believe that people buy same items all the time is because those are the items available on most vendors. The most important and hardest thing with BE clothing is finding a BE that can suply the tissue regularly and with the best stats. So when I get the gmail from the BE that I use that she has crates of Tensile resistance 4\18 I buy a lot of it.

As soon as I place a +25 Ent Slave skirt on my vendor, it's gone. They really do sell fast. Seemsalot more ppl are grinding dancerto convertxp to Heightened Sences. These BE skirts really do add alot more xp. I sell BE clothes for 10k per the cloth needed. So the slave skirt needs 6 cloth to make. It is tuff finding large crates of tissues but I know a great BE.

Oh, on a side note for those who might care... I'm working on getting Jedi Init with ZERO combat skills. So far I've finished Crafting Mastery and now I'm dancing my way thru the last two branches which will be inHeightened Sences - Survey and Luck. Heck whats 25million dancing XP ... I'm in no hurry.

my crafter account is currently a 3-1-3-4 tailor. i've never made any BE clothing yet, but luckily one of my best friends in-game is a master BE, and she's willing to supply me with any BE Tissues that i'd ever need, so it works out great for me.

personally, i picked up tailor because stats on materials didn't matter, so it wasn't as much of a credit sink to start out, and i also LOVE wearing clothing isntead of armor, so i like ot help others look good too.

I've always had trouble finding a reliable BE to make me tissues, so I have difficulty supplying BE clothing... I do it, but I've been thinking about just stopping that.

Its tought finding that much enhanced myoflex because of all of the eggs it needs! I usually end up combining +17 enhanced myoflex and +8 myoflex because the regular tissue doesn't needs eggs to make and so its a lot easier!

I'm impressed that you have gotten through the entire crafting mastery! I gave up after the first box. I remember seeing you in the village all the time, though!

Ive noticed a general lack of demand for BE'd clothing, at least as far as I know doing tailoring on Ahazi. Even a little bit before JTL was released, I stopped getting any requests, except for Medical and Melee/stun. No one wants like Taming or mask scent, or bleed defense anymore..not when most now are too busy trying to master pilot. And nothing you do on the ground helps you one bit in space.

The space expnsion seems to have affected many professions..many crafters are suddenly more interested in working on pilot rather then keeping their vendor stocked, since you can easily make 10k+ in an hour looting from ships you have destroyed, not to mention credits from selling looted ship components. And even before JTL, it was always difficult to find reliable Bio Engineers. Id find one and keep going back to their vendor, but after a while their vendor would get emptier and emptier, until finallyI'd get the notice that they are quitting the profession. I understand that everyone who plays can play the space part as much as they want, that is their right as paying customers.

Just for the record, however, my crafter Dryas is not grinding out pilot because I try to be available to customers when ever im on that server.

I don't much like BE clothes. Yes, I sell some on my vendor, and will make them for someone who asks, but it is not my main business.
And I try to always keep a stock of enhanced cloth around - I even have 2 stock emails I send to a potential customer explaining what levels of enhancements I have, and what items will take them (and I only list single cloth items).
I prefer to make BE clothes to order, and my vendors say so. That way the customer gets as close to what they are looking for as possible, in color comb of choice. And my BE clothes are priced reasonably, for now. (my game hubby is a MBE, but he is not playing so much anymore and I am having to buy tissues now)
BE clothes are a lot harder on us as salespersons though, moreso than explaining why the customer cannot have a bright red cloak, trying to explain to them why the pants they want cannot be made with the enhancement they want.

ok enough rambling

I kinda specialised in BE clothing by neccessity of having tofinancially support a PvE alt. BE clothing can bring in squillions of credits if you get to know the market, but it's incredibly boring sometimes. If I had more time as a tailorI would have sold regular clothing but I just didn't have the time. I found as a BE tailor I was a complete slave to my merchant tent and factory, being a regular tailor was much more fun

Thank you all for responding with your experiences. If there is anyone on Bria that really likes making BE stuff, let me know (here or in-game) and I will refer those customers to you. I really hate to tell people that I cannot help them and I don't know whocan.

I am not looking for referrals from others because my physical therapist (for carpol tunnel) told me I shouldn't play more than a few hours a week. When I described the grind to master tailor, he just about shot me -- hehe.

Thanks again!

You can send 'em to my shop, (see sig). I took my vendors off the map, and my shop sign says "On leave of absence," but I do have pretty well-stocked vendors. I've been busy with RL stuff lately and don't always know when I'll be able to play, but the shop is open.
