Thread: Who would be interested in chatting with other tailors?
Teamspeak and SWG will work with even a dial up modem as long as you set the codec on TS low enough.
Just go to www.teamspeak.org and downloadthe software
then enter the server for which someone has allowed you access.
Put in your player name and the password you were given for the server (if they have one)
Hook up your headset making sure your mic volume is up
and start talking.
TS costs a monthly fee and most large guilds have server space to offer for free if you join the guild or sell.
On Bria both my old Guild GHOST of 350 people and my new guild ICE of 80 people have teamspeak. It is great and can be divided in a guild for different hunting groups and crafting groups and whatever. Heck on ICE's teamspeak we often have guy and girl couples going to private rooms to "talk".
GHOST was so big we had to eventually start charging people a one time fee of 5 dollars to get on it. with covered our 40 to 60 dollar a month bill until new players would sign up.
it is easy to use and works very well with SWG. Do not let anyone that hasn't tried it tell you different. The only problem I have ever noticed is that certain USB headsets will go bleep and then you will not be able to talk until you reload the program. But that is rare.
