Well, that's why I'm putting off doing that, I don't want to redo hundreds of screenshots when they give us our 55 colors back.

BTW if you want to help, go into your options and set screenshots to be output as tiffs or something rather than jpgs.. so they don't suck.

OK! www.swgtailor.com is registered, but it's not resolving to the site yet - should be within 24-72 hours.

Until then, http://zero.xa.net/~shirow/swgtailor/public_html will work.

You you just want an example, you can visit my shop. There's a nifty trick I do for advertising that works really well in this situation. If you stand in one place and drop (in your house) several items of clothing (Usually a complete outfit) The clothes will just hang there as if you had been wearing them. You can turn them just like furniture. I use it as a little psuedo-manikin method of diplaying my wares. This is also very usefull for taking screen shots without the PC getting in the way.

Nice... that site has a lot of potential and can become one of my regular sites once there's some screenshots up.

I've got some 300+ MB worth in tif-files for the novice tailor schematics (in various colors), taking from the crafting tool color screen. But I think that's not really what you're looking for.

Anyway, one suggestion. Perhaps you should also add Blight's Guide to Tailoring to the site. Just ask him and tell him you're not going to make money off it and I'm certain he'll let you use it.

Look forward to seeing what's going to become of that site.

Great idea. Expect some major bandwidth usage!

One comment though: I couldn't hardly see the links to the articles because they're in grey. Maybe you could underline or change the colour on the links?

Otherwise, great work. I'll be sending people there all the time.

Oh, as for when to take screen shots, I would suggest splitting the palette and item screen shot, if you plan on doing anything. Just have the palettes for things at each level of Tailoring, and the same image of the garment beside it.

Aside from Wookiee clothes and maybe some boots and cloaks, I believe most items share the same colour selection. (Whether the colour you choose looks right afterwards is another story.)

Good idea. I'll look into the links thing.

More suggestions are appreciated

actually i'm master tailor and i don't see much difference from tailor 4 to master in selection of color. 3/4 of my palette is dull browns, black, greys (how many greys do devs think we need!) pale colors of pink, blue yellow green etc. i have a few brights none of which i could call exceptional. no blood red just some pinky reddish color closer to fuchsia, etc. i have none of the really nice jewel colors i see on loot drops. go figure... u'd think master tailor would be able to duplicate looted clothing colors....

Right now, master tailor doesn't get additional color options over tailoring 4.

When in the tailoring tree do you see true black for the first time?

Depends what you call 'true black' - what seems black to me a lot of people say is grey. I keep my gamma at normal levels though (e.g. night time is *dark*)
