Okay, well, would you want the metal palette changed as well?

I think one thing we might want to consider adding to our "top lists" is that business about increasing the crate size of tailored components (to 100? 200? or whatever). At fanfest, this is about the only thing that they seemed even half-way motivated to do for us (presumably because it would be trivial to implement). I'm in no way saying that this issue (to me) merits a top-10 or top-5 standing, but just that it might be something that we could actually expect to get done. Dunno, worth considering.

I, personally, would like to see a true yellow-gold color added to the palette. I just don't think any of the existing colors really look right.

Also I couldn't help but notice a seeming contradiction in the top 20 you sent to the devs.

* Concerns about NOT wanting limited-use schematics

.
.
* Professions left out from limited use schems
o armorsmith
o musician
o bioengineer
o combat medic
o artisan

Which kinda says that on the one hand there is opposition to the limited use schematics, but while they're at it they should consider making a few more for these professions. I'm not trying to pick on you, NJ, I just thought I should point that out. I actually argued for the limited use schematics in the thread regarding the suggested TKM schematic. I think that they add some an element of uniqueness and rarity to certain items.

Anyway, back to the regularly scheduled thread. Go colors!

I want a bigger palette, and the same for all items. With numbers!

Yeah we don't want any more, but it's not fair to leave those professions out. This is more of a "global gripe" than a tailor gripe. Fair is fair.

I think the architects are on the warpath about this, or a similar issue. They want resource stacks bigger, and I think crates go along with that. I think the concern is that storage space limitations prevent monopolies from the top crafters, and storage should be a crunch, regardless of the database issues, or lack thereof.

Anyway, before I go spouting off on this behind the scenes, I'll yap a bit with Dvnce and see what is going on from that end.

Honestly, I know we need a new top list, a bunch of things have come up in the last 2 months, and I was kind of on-the-spot asked to resubmit the list to Greenmarine at Fanfest, so I hastily added some issues that have come up, because time was an issue, but I wasn't really asked to add in more stuff for them to do (heheh). I'm not entirely sure when the issues in THIS list will be addressed, but it's getting to the 3 month mark soon, so we could redo it if you want.

Oh and since this has become the de-facto FYI thread, Doc is compiling a list of incorrect vendor categories, so I passed along the pertinent sections of our top 20 to him via e-mail. /flex Yeah sometimes I feel a little weird about saying every bit of (insignificant) info I pass along (or copy to another corre), because it's extremely disheartening, at least for me, when things just don't happen after I write the requested document, blah blah.

As far as the metal pallette is concerned, Iagree thata nice gold color would do nicely. Something else that occured to me (I have NO clue if anyone else has thought of this, but I like it) While the master pallete should not only have additional colors, it should comprise the colors of ALL the palletes....But I think it would be fitting (please don't hate me non masters) if for those under master that the palletes stayed where they are (for that level), to include their current separation. It would furtherdefine "master" clothing other than just bright red blue and green. I'm a big fan of the casual jacket, simple as it is. Whatentertainer wouldn't want a gold jacket and gold boots? I mention that only because I've not really seen it specified to have the metal pallette included in the consolidated master pallette

Gorath, Chilastra, Wanderhome.

Elder SL, Rifleman, Pistoleer, Scout, Marksman, Tailor, WS, Merchant, Entertainer, Dancer, Musician, Pikeman, TK, Smuggler, Commando, Combat Medic.

About crate sizes,

Okay, I was right, this is one of Dvnce's big projects to try to convince the devs. There's actually a petition in core systems, but personally I think petitions in core systems are ineffective - instead I'm going to work with Dvnce and back him up however needed behind the scenes, since he's been working on this issue for a while.

I would love to see a full color pallette on everything. That is one of my biggest annoyances I have come across so far on just something that is in the game.

But would love to see a bunch of new things mentioned as well but colors would be a nice hold me over.
