Actually some dancers really really like the belted vest. I think it's a little bulky but it's not as bad as the pullover. The problem with the long vest is, IMO, it looks dirty.

Last night i was testing these with my trusty long legged twilek female friend. And she really liked the look of the standard pullover. Once i showed her a belted vest it became her standard outfit. Shes a TK and i got the line "Wow this really makes this position look unlady like". But otherwise a belted vest with hawtpants seems to be a nice comprimise for the look.

I decided to take a look at this. The pullover is way to bulky on top. So I decided to play around with some other vests and see what I could come up with. The long vest looks much better than the pullover. See what you guys think.

Wow, i really like this, esp w/ the fleshwrap, gonna have to try this one out as a display and see how it sells. I agree w/ the comments about it looking dirty, but maybe sticking to base colors such as blue, purple, red, and orange that might cover up the dirty look, i'll test it out and see. I generally make the pullover/mini-skirt in pastel colors, the base colors seem to make it feel more bulky, pastels lighten it up a bit.
I just really like the way the fleshwrap's neck piece shows w/ the long vest. I like the belted vest as well but the trim on the neckline bugs me for some reason.

Update: well, I put 4 pullovers (labelled "miniskirt") in cheerful colors on the coronet bazaar and it's been 4 days now, and only 1 of them have sold
I'm afraid this experiment has been a flop. Oh well.I'm very surprised, because it's been my experience that people in generally aren'tthat discriminating and are likely to try such new things. I suspect that one of the real problems is that somebody looking for such a thing would be very unlikely to look at the "vest" category. Grrr, it really would be cool if we had some control under what category we could list certain things.

I've had the Belted Vest/Fleshwrap as my vendor uniform for some time now. For an animated figure, however, I'd really have to suggest a Wooly Jacket & Hot Pants (prefferably pink
).

I use mine as a miniskirt. I've got a purple one and I wear them with hotpants and white uniform boots. The outfit goes really well with white uniform boots ... kind of like a gogo dancer outfit
And the bulky top part? I kind of like that ... it sort of functions like a Wonder Bra in its torso enhancement

I used to have a Trando entertainer that wore one, it actually looked half decent. Looked more like a kilt than a skirt.

It's so unfair. City of Heroes gets to have high-heels and high-thigh boots. Lineage II has mini-skirts and even panty-shots. We get nothing of this. And kids play CoH and Lineage II as much as SWG... so what's wrong? Give us more sexier clothes... we get Exotic Leotards which is soooo revealing!

I personally don't like them. But I know many dancers on Flurry wear them. I would not rename them. Leave them as Pullover and maybe add miniskirt in parantheses afterwards?

1) We have plenty of sexy items, most of which I have never caught a glimpse of in any of the movies (bustiers, hawtpants, etc). Maybe we could use more. We could certainly use Leia's slave skirt, or any other items on which the tailors have voted. However, see #2...
