I'd heard someone report that they were marketing pullovers as miniskirts and thought that was a very clever idea, but I'd never seen one in-game until last night (on Wanderhome, still never seen them on Bria). From a distance it was kinda like "wow, very cool" nice bright colored skirt with roughly the right shape. But up close, it kinda looked like a skirt would look if it were knitted out of wool or something, lol, and was far too baggy and such. I was just wondering if other tailors had seen such a thing around and what your opinions of this are. I might start selling these myself if there is enough demand for them but I'm kinda on the fence so far as to whether I should or not.

I find them too bulky on top for girls, and too "Ancient Rome Slave Tunic" for boys. Not that the slave tunic is necessarily bad...

I sell them as pullovers and let the customers decide (after all they are always right

I like making them for mon cals, for some reasonthe pulloversseem to fit them well (might be profiling from the outfit Ackbar wore in the movie though)
For females they do seem a bit bulky around the middle.....but I sorta like the slave boy tunic idea...*ponders*
Darkesong's Den of Debauchery......clothing outlet and harem
has a nice ring to it lol

Ok while working back up tailor tonight at 3/4/1/1 i decided to test this out. So i made a pink pullover and a matching pink pair of hawtpants. And your right on the mon-cals physique, mine being male, it works. IM going to see what it looks like on our female twileks and zabrak.

The Skirt part looks good, but as Nj said, the top looks bulky (and imo kinda rediculous)
Ive seen it used over a revealing fleshwrap before, with some gloves and boots, looks odd but kinda neat.

Arthur, i'm the one who reported on selling them as mini-skirts. I agree, the top is kinda sack-like, but for some reason folks gobble them up, both on my vendor and the bazaars. I kinda like the way the pullover looks, almost a through back to the cute lil mod mini-skirts from the 60's. I usually pair them w/ a pair of hide boots or standard boots renamed Go-Go boots. I tried using the uniform boots, but they just look a lil weird for some reason. Anyway, good luck trying these out in the bazaar on your server, let us know how it goes.

I got curious, and crafted one for myself to have a look. Didn't like it very much, made me look like a hunchback from a bad 60's-show, tho the skirt thingie was nice. Still, I might recommend entertainers to try it out, as a change to what they're usually wearing. And if they're happy with it, who am I to complain?

I'm quite the fan of the pullover, at least for my dancer customers.
Thecurrent fashion is a pullover worn over a revealing fleshwrap. Quite the attractive combination.
Only 'complaint' I heard was from a dancer friend mentioning that it made her look 5 cup sizes bigger...
So yeah, all hail the pullover.

Customers either love or hate the pullovers. I have had a number of different customers try it on & think they look pregnant

yea, not 'dissin you at all, you definitely started a fashion trend and it was clever. The person that I saw wearing this was actually a tailor and she was real happy with the look. But still, I think it looks kinda silly and I'll see what I can do to propogate that look into Bria, if for no other reason then so I can laugh at em, lol.
I do think it's cool when people come up with clever ideas like this though. Fashion-wise, I'm a lot more re-active then pro-active.

Well good, at least I'm not the only one that thought the top looks, um, bulky, yea, that's the word.
But of course being an evil tailor now I'm gonna have to sell them like mad on a bazaar near youin a fiendish plot to make everyone dress in these awful things. Let start them of at.... *in his best Dr Evil voice* one BIL..., no, I mean 6k. muahahahaha.

I decided to take a look at this. The pullover is way to bulky on top. So I decided to play around with some other vests and see what I could come up with. The long vest looks much better than the pullover. See what you guys think.
