I'd rather see them go into Master Tailor (and no, I'm not one).

Hello! There ARE brighter colors available to the Novice..its in your Tailoring/Experimentation line..which everyone ignores because they are trying to make bustiers/dusters etc.

First tier gives you a deep red, deep blue, medium purple and more depth of other colors

Second tier give you nicer black, bright blue, bright green, and more range between.

Thrid tier gives you more range again.

And I'm working on 4th tier in this tree right now.

I believe the true 'brights' (primary colors) are either last tier or master...as well they should be.

Doh just thought of somehting to add....there ARE a few items that have not increased in color range even tho I'm one box away from master tailor:

Dusters, Cloaks, and boots.

No blues or purples or reds for these items...just green peach maroon black etc......That should be changed.

Blode, yes I know, currently each box of customization gives you +20 colors. But there used to also be a +55 in the master box. That bonus is no longer there. It went *poof* =D

Honestly, I can't understand why anyone wouldn't want more colours per level of Tailoring, but I'd say that you should just tell the Devs that we want those colours back and mention both ideas (all at master/more evenly split) and let them decide.

Remember, if you don't want to make a decision (i.e., face the repercussions of making a decision :smileywink, you can always foistit onto someone else's lap!

They gripe at the devs anyway. Let whoever doesn't get their way gripe at them about this, too. Just some free advice from your ol' pal.

Definitely divide up the remaining colors between skill boxes. It would just seem more rewarding and would really give people that sense of accomplishment. But I would also probably save the absolute best color(s) for Master.

With the amount of stuff we have to make to even get up to Master Tailor, especially paying XP for more colors, split them up into the customization tree. If I even remotely felt like I was going to get decent color options then I would waste (yes that is my feeling at this point) the 32000 xp on the new color box. I don't want to feel like I wasted 32000 or 48800 and so on xp to get more lame colors thrown into the already dreary pallette. How many shades of gray and brown do we really need anyway?

I vote for splitting them up the tree and giving us bright basic primary colors.

I really want to have:

I would vote for if they added the 55 colors back in, to add most of them spread out in the customization branch (lvl 4 seems to not give hardly any good ones i've heard, I'm at 3). And do NOT reserve most of the "good" colors in that 55 for master. I think master should be at most 3 diff colors, the 7 shades, so 21 colors, and only one of those being a sought after one (NOT the red, I think the really good red that isn't in the game yet should be reward of lvl 4 tailoring/customization branch). With the rest being distributed throughout the tailoring branch.

P.S. an annoying issue is that Tipless Gloves aren't really tipless, we have to color the tips, and even tho I have the color 3 box, there's none of the "red" we do have so far available there for those wanting red/black gloves. And being as how my skin is deep purple, there is no way these gloves will ever look tipless on me as there is no color like my skin tone in the game.

I vote for splitting them up and I'm also rather partial to Alichai's idea of +25 for each level and then +35 at master.

I like the idea of adding +5 to each of the Tailoring skill boxes and reducing Master to +35. I don't think that this will take away from people trying to get Master. It's really the clothing in that box that make it unique. Right now there are no additional colors added when you reach it and I haven't heard any complaints about it.

Right now I think it's more the color choices and not the number of colors that make the Tailoring line kind of disappointing. What fun is it to get 20 more colors when it's just 5 shades of 4 colors and 2 of those are neutrals!

Definitely split them up. You do get a nice red at technique 1, but not a whole lot else. And how many cream-colored items do we need?

Also, I don't believe belt buckles (say, the workman's belt) have any decent range of colors. At technique 1, anyway, I can make 64 colors, but none of my best colors (no white, black, reds, blues).

One last thing - can we have some kind of better organization for colors? I'm slightly colorblind, and it drives me crazy when I'm looking for a slightly darker brown that what I just made, and end up getting a green because I can't tell where I was... I'm probably one of the few tailors that hates getting the messages like "Oh, you pick the color - you know best." Then I'll just make white - at least there's onlyfive of them.

I just started the tailor profession today, so obviously I don't have a lot of information to go on.

As soon as I got my novice tailor profession, I turned it on overhead and got a lot of questions of can I make this and that.

That is exciting in itself no doubt but very disheartening that I find out I have to grind for another 3 lvls to get stuff that people want.

Ultimately, if the colours were top loaded to the master tailor then it again becomes a race to see who gets to the top first and that definitely defeats the purpose.

I certainly agree with the top issues of the field that I have read about and still have to figure out what the situation is with regards to BE components and loot drops still.

There are two things I would like to see for tailors given the market we are working with and I think it is something that would work well....

A Model Hologram...created by droid engineers of course where we can buy storage compartments of different clothes that the hologram can model including all the different colours we can make it in.

For the diserning customer this is a must and really makes our job that much more enjoyable....going into a cantina and being able to model different clothes on a handsome body instead of my fat old Mon Cal hide.

We could have a holocamera to take a picture of our client so they could see exactly what they would look like.

I also think tailors should have a special pack that stores clothes only course i don't know how the vendors work yet so that may not be necessary.

I would also like the ability to sort in my datapad a lot better similar to what people are asking for the bazaar.

I really think that degradation and loot drops of clothing should be done immediately though as already after a few hours I am getting, "I don't have room for more clothes, thanks anyways"
