Thread: Great News for Us Tailors (BigPatch News From Test!)
Great!
I am almost up to field wear 3, so not very advanced yet, but I am still quite glad to hear of these changes. Now I can be more helpful to my wookie customers. ![]()

2) Crafting just got much better. Not only are Clothes now catagorized but the crafting tool remembers last item crafted! Also, another feature is that backpacks show up on item filter. You can double click on them to open into a new window then DRAG the resources/components into the inventory window on the crafting tool. Very nice! Also loading resources into their slots seems to have been sped up dramaticly.
You didn't specifically mention this, so I will- this does include categories on the bazaar! Existing auctions didn't seem to get moved, but there are a number of sub-categories under Clothing now...
What is wonderful about the new wookie color is the stepped-up vibrancy that goes along with it,
EG: Weighted Wookie Pullover (our nemisis)
Before the colors had an overlap that made things even more dificult than before. But, now with the new palets that overlay is a tad tamer. Color 1 = metal colors, it handles the studs an the area around the studs for the most part. Color 2 = the leather, more colors than other leathers though, which was pleasing. I was able to pick the nice Tailoring 1 Purple for the leather and that gave the piece a nice crisp color tone. Then I selected the orange copper color and it resulted in a purple tunic with rich pink trim. Very nice!
The variety of colors is so much more fun to play with now.
I was so excited to make a rich blue Wookie Pullover...! Yay!
I have recently began putting mods in my clothing. I successfully made a shirt with a reinforced fiberplast panel that had a constrictor mod in it. I was very happy to be able to do that.
I then proceded to make a pair of crafter's pants that requires 1 RFP and 1 Synthetic Cloth. I added the constrictor mod into the RFP and put a Myroflex mod into the Synthetic Cloth. I was hoping that it would add both mods, but it only used 1, the synthetic cloth w/the MyroFlex mod showed up.
I really wanted the pants to have the constrictor mod in it more than anything so I then experimented and made another RFP w/the constrictor mod and made the Synthetic plain with nothing added. I was hoping it would see the mod in one and put that into the pants.
I was disappointed to find that when they were finished crafting there was no mod AT ALL to be seen - as if it didn't recognize the constrictor mod that I put into the RFP?
I am not understanding this....is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Please, if someone could respond back - I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Okay Here is a screenshot of the new wookie color pallet, note my colors are for Tailoring 2 rank.

Factory storage nerf is goiung to hurt big time. Spent the last week really stockpiling. I can see where 100k is way too much, but there has got to be some middle ground that isnt 100. I already have a small house that is nothing but storage. Add lots for harvesters, the shop, the factories themselves and some energy source and there is no way I will have enough lots to even begin to keep what I have let alone store anything new.
Any idea when this patch is going to take effect? Will have to empty all I can out of the factories ahead of time.
