Thread: BigPatch 3: The Extended Remix (Whats been fixed)
I was making Trader's and Transport Flightsuits this morning and noticed I got no sockets on uh.. I think Trader's (I could be wrong, one or the other), but did get 4 sockets on Transport. (or vice versa... sigh my memory is fading).
No, I don't read DirectX whitepapers in my spare time (I'm more of an OpenGL guy myself), but if I'm missing something I would be genuinely interested to know what the issue is.
Fixes were made to the the whole wearing dresses with a packpack issue. You can now equip the luxurious dress with a backpack. Haven't check a grand healers robe yet but I am asuming its been fixed too as well as the exotic leotard.

Requires Merchant Efficency 4 to place. Architects make the Deed. Tailors provide the cloth.
imnot entirely sure what the complait regarding backpacks and exotic leotards was,so forgivemeif this is unrelated, but i have worn standard, bounty and tech packs with it with no problem other than if my lekku are in the back psition they protude into the pack....
You know, I've been a tailor for 2 months now and a novice artisan making clothes for probably a month before that, and I certainly am aware of sockets, but no customer has *ever* said anything to me aboutthem (that there is not enough etc.). To me this is completely a non-issue.
The necklaces thing, or coloring problems to me are 100x more substantial. Hopefully we are conveying this to the development team. I really could care less how many sockets there are when I make a bustier.
But does it cost to the total amount on lots?
Some view sockets as a representation of quality. I get a good number of socket questions, but it is true that most of them are "What are sockets?" rather than "How many sockets will there be?"
Dueto the rarity of looted enhancements, no, it's not very high on the priority list. But I do understand that likely the devs had an allotted amt of time for this patch to fix tailor issues, and that was the best that they could do in that time. Other professions seem to be getting moretime this patch, like merchants. Last patch, tailors got more attention.
I'm happylargely because of the merchant fixes going in. ![]()
Yeah, I never get asked about sockets, but before I became tailor, I bought something off a master, and she charged me half-price because it only had two sockets, heck, I can only make 2 on my items.

I'd just like to point out, barking at our coorspondent about a reply she got from the devs doesnt really do much good. Many times in the tech field you give a reply that uses big technical words so that(you hope) the majority of the people don't understand what you are talking about and just shrug.
Has anyone noticed weird fail rates since the last patch? For example, I was crafting exotic leotards for my new dancer vendor. Made 2 fine, then I failed 4 times in a row. I ended up closing out my tool and reopening it. It happened again a few hours later when making grand ball gowns. Had to close out my tool and open a new one. It seems like the critical failure value gets stuck until you exit out ofthe crafting tool.
Losing the resources doesnt really bother me(i have over 150k fiberplast and poly) but I just thought it was weird.

If this is in reference to that bit about the necklaces, then I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was a reply from the devs. I apologize to Vandessa for any offense I may have caused. Truly, I think you're doing a wonderful job.
