Inventory
Encumbrance for inventory has been added. If a player's inventory is overfull/overloaded by means of loot, quest rewards, etc, the player will no longer be able to move. If this occurs, a player will have to choose and delete an item from inventory before being able to move again. When you are overloaded by +1 items, your inventory icon begins to blink (like when you have email messages). When you are overloaded by +2 items, you get a big red message in the middle of your screen that never goes away that says "Inventory Overloaded- You can not move."
Anyone know what the limit is? I carry a backpack loaded to the gills with crates, crafting tools, and other associated materials for that "Hey, can you make me some cloths" on the spot type of thing. If it is normally hold (100 items total), no big deal, but if its like 50 items total, this would be worse than the original vendor nerf.
I suspect this is the case: if your inventory is full, previously you wouldn't get your phat lewt rewards from Jabba quests or whatnot.
Me gunbunny - me mad me no get reward. Not me fault me can't count inventory items.
Now, it seems, you DO get your reward, but you have to then scurry off to the bank, because when the next reward lands in your inventory (i.e. +2) you get stuck in place, and will have to destroy something else in inventory to become mobile again.
Me gunbunny. Me confused. Why me no can move?

Well, case in point. I had a request to go to Mos Espa Cantina the other night to help a new dancer make an outfit. 3 hours later, I finally managed to get out of there. 24 crates of synth, 10 crates of trim, 5 crates of Jewelry settings, and 6 crates of Metal fasteners gone!
Now I did get on last night and fully load my main inventory and my backpack and had no problems. So this little stealth fix (nerf?) I guess is so the gun bunnies to loose their precious loot. Of course, they may not loose their loot, but they are rooted to the ground in front of all those nightsisters

As far as I can tell, ubese shirts and bandoliers, because they have no armor protection, now function as clothing with 1000 condition, decay upon death, clothing attachments, etc.

DaAhn i think you've misunderstood. so long as you stay under your limit (60 in inventory and 50 backpack) there is no change.
but if you are forced over (trying to loot an item when you are full) instead of the item just disappearing or not being pulled into your inventory, now it will go in there but you will be over your limit by 1 item and this will slow you down. go over by 2 items and you cant move. (i think)
Sorry Vandaemus, not to argue with you, (I know your on our side:smileyhappy
but I thought you could only have 50 in your inventory, not counting what is in your pack or what you have equipped? And its always been my experience that it would never let me go over 100% full or more then 50 in the base inventory. If i tried it wouldjust tel me "This container is full"I took this to mean that if you have your pack full and your base inventory full, you can't move, thats what it sounded like to me, maybe its just they way they wrote in the patch notes.
But still, why impose a penalty? Why even mess with the inventory in the first place? You have to wonder.
