Oh rotating is easy. If you're going to be doing some decorating try and use a toolbar section for movement macros. Saves a load of time and is so much easier than typing the commands out over and over.
The command you want is /rotate left x. Also accepts right as well.
In that screenie you can see my centre toolbar set is just rotation options. Top left, left one degree, then 10 degrees, then 10 right, and finally 1 right. Bottom two are 45 degrees left and right.
Left hand end of the toolbar is moving up and down, 1, 10 and 40. Right hand end is forwards and backwards, 1, 10 and 40 again. I suppose adding a /pickup one might be useful as well.
Incase anyone's wondering the far left icon is my universal /dump option that I have on all toolbars. Not that I used looped macro's a lot but my title swapping macro interfere's with trading and stuff.

Wow i really like this idea...it would give the customer a chance to see exactly what they want without changing my interface or causing me to have to be there! good thinking! and maybe it could have something where if you wanted to you could add an access fee or something, although you wouldnt have to...i dont know...good thought though!

I have been using bookcases to make changing rooms. drop 2 of them on top of each other, rotate one so the backsides face out all around. If you have a friendly architect they can change the name of the item so it's not "bookcase" when someone targets it. use 4 of them to make an L shape against a wall and you're set. A chair and a lamp for decor and you're money.

I made my own when I had architect skills. I just used 2 bookcases, and of course the lovely "Cloaked Dress" for my curtains

Yes it's a good idea. But would you rather have that than new schematics and colors, like IDs got a salon instead of new hairstyles and tatoos? I don't.

I've had a 8-petal painting screen set up in the corner of my home for some time, no one ever wants to roleplay enough to use it though...

The thing this would eliminate is
a. people constantly asking what you can make,
b. what colors you can do and
c. eliminating theft by deception...
W/ this implemented this would allow your potential customer to come in and actually "try" on the cloths you can make in your house/ shop reducing the amount of can you make pistoleer cloths in hot pink stuff... I think this would save us all a lot of headache especially for the dedicated tailor
