Have to agree here, I have all my clothing colour numbered as well as named as it makes it so much easier for someone to pick out items that (more-or-less) match and it makes replacements later on so much easier

Although I know if our palettes change all my current numbers will become useless

I *agree* as well.
If whatever color we choose to craft an item, it would be awesome if there was a way that the color was numbered and crafted into the item maybe in a way that if we examine it we would be able to see the color # choosen for that particular item.
It's always hard to match colors when you are crafting something that someone else may have made, or is looted, etc. I don't know how much time, resources and aggravation that I've spent sitting there eyeing up stuff to try and match it to a tee.
I think I've gone deliously mad when it comes to trying to match things. I'll make it and then re-make it in every shade until I find that exact one

we do name clothes now, some even use reference sites to refer to for color lables/marked tables, but the point being is we should not have to place values into lables to match color in the future.
a system which shows the color value in inspect or examine itself would by far be more functional then us typeing it in ourselves (imagine how many will miskey a # and not notice til 'matching' it later)
being able to click colors off a table allows us to see the color in veiw without such minor 1value tweeking
don't get me wrong,I want the full allowance a RGB box would give us for color, especially after watching friend play RAWvsWAR on PS2..full slider tint box for everything {including teeth} and print/texture overlay up the wazoo for outfits~oh it made me dream of such a system in SWG..*drool*
