What I'd like to see isall the newclothing wearable by all (except Wookiees...eek), and just be able to select who it is for after creation - like architects do with statues, gardens, etc.

I second that.

I actually posted on my own thread, lol it's late and I'm tired *late for me stop laughing* anyway I figured I'd add it here =) this was some of the stuff I didnt see mentioned

Clothing is always going to be limited in a game. You can't have millions of different clothing BUT what if you gave Master Tailors the ability to embrioder their clothing. Like put symbols and things on their clothing, Imperial Symbols, rebel symbols, flames, stars... it would widen the range of self expression and create a bit of difference between people. In COH for character creation you could choose from so many things to put on your chest to the design on your pants and shirt sleeves. I loved some of the shirts that were put in for Ithorians with the 11 patch but it's a shame they are the only ones who can wear them. I'm not bitching or crying, I'm just making a suggestion that might help tailors a bit. Not that there aren't a million things to fix and tweek, and I know Tailors are still low priority especially now that they've been given something else. But this at least would give you the chance to add something to the game that would make even old clothes new.

Also I think Master Tailors or any Master Crafter should be allowed to register at least one vendor on the planetary map. We may have shops people can't find because of this. Being a master BE and a master tailor doesnt leave many points left for going up the merchant tree to be able to do this. Just asking for ONE!

here is my input:

(oops, had some things here that are already above ie socketing, rfp/be tissues, bandoliers, color palettes)

#5 a new one, I think (it's been discussed but never listed i don't think). Allow us to 'package' clothing items together. attach a shirt/pants/jacket/shoe together, price and sell as one item. This wouuld do two things: allow us to craft items with matching colors and package them so customers can get matching shirt/pant colors every time without having to pour over the vendor lists for hours. second, allows us to have more control over our stock and sales. We can choose to be a 'full service' tailor opposed to an 'a la carte' tailor. Neither of which is bad, but gives us a choice. (don't tell me to use a backpack or other container, as the customer can't view the item on the vendor that way.

P

Ithorian clothing is just plain awesome. I can't say enough good things about it. But, while creating and putting the Ithorian clothing on my vendors today, I couldn't help but feel jealous that they are getting some truly wonderful clothing items, and the "old" stuff that we can wear is just plain boring by comparison. Any chance of the developers giving us some new textures like the Ithorians have?

Oh and the pants are to die for!

I'd have to agree with just about everything there as well...

also, the ithorian mystic shirt and pants don't match. the design is off. would be nice if they actually went together and yes, Ithorian clothing is, as my daughter put it "off the chizzain" lol she loves it and wants to create one on another server just to "sport" the gear. lol

/agree on winged hawtpants... i have booty but um...not that darn much

who do i talk to for a cool signature?

Regarding the ithorian clothes....

I think they are really good but I don't want to see them copied to the "old" species. Instead I want more diversity, more race specific clothes and even planet specific clothes. I think it's kind of silly that everyone and their bothan wears the same kind of clothes regardless of species and origin. Maybe some clothes can be intended for a specific species but all humanoid can wear it if theywant (and want to be ridiculed )

Rhodian wedding gowns. Calamari bathing suites. Trandoshan top hats. Bothan pyjamas. You get the idea.

I know we'll never get it because of the sheer amount of extra art and coding that is needed but it is a brainstorm thread.

We can actually do this now with backpacks, although the purchaser can't see the individual items within the backpack. What if you numbered the items when you make them so that matching sets arenamed #32-Shirt and #32 Pants for example. That way matching items all show up together in the window if they sort by name. It would also make it easier tos ee the items you need to replace due to sales, etc.

Just thinking out loud here.

Bandoliers as containers should be number 1. It's already in JTL

Socketed clothes should be 2nd

And a standard color pallette

No other opinions other than those 3 items. My socketed clothing seems so random still. I was getting way more 4 socketed items without my tailoing outfit on today... yesterday was getting alot of zero sockets, it seems messed up completely. I don't think a Master Tailor should ever get zero or one socketed clothing. Master tailors should regularly get 3 to 4 sockets and rarely 2 sockets.

I have posted about the bandoliers today in the corr forum - I'm not optimistic that I will get a response, however, but I needed to wait until JTL was shipped before they would talk to me. I will keep after them until I get an answer.

well, maybe they add something of that list in half a year...

it took them more than 6 months to add some items of the old list (for example: leia's skirt")
