Thread: [closed]Poll:the new tailored segment for wookiee armor [closed]
sorry as an armorsmith this is a pain...
This is an armor Item it belongs to the armorsmiths... I already spend a lot of money on getting Synth and RFP's... now to top it off I have to have you experiment exactly the way I want you too inorder to get a componet I will consider usefull in my suits of armor... dont get me wrong I like taliors and respect them...But sorry but this should not stay as a talior item... Its an armor componet...
Please look at it that way!
its not useful to anyone else... but an armorsmith... and the first few weeks of this being live expect not to be making anything else but this until the armorsmith demand is used up... and trust us the heavy use of wooly hide stinks... and Most armorsmiths are very picky about how they experiment on their componets and materials... I know I am... and this now makes the talior a middleman...

Get rid of it. Give us some more CLOTHES to make, you clueless morons.
Sorry, but I'm just about out of patience with these devs and this game.
Let me make sure we're all on the same page.
Yes = Remove it
No = Keep it in the tailoring tree.
Please edit your votes so I can count them properly (or if you can't edit, re-vote, but make it clear that it's a re-vote). I want to make sure I'm clear on everyone's opinion.
Yes, Get rid of it. While I don't mind making components for armorsmiths (becauseI use those components myself too), it doesn't seem to make sense to have components in tailor that the tailor can't use for anything themselves.
I would much prefer more clothing schematics and options (colors, patterns, textures).
Yes = Remove it
Get rid of it. It's a padded armor segment, is it not? Armorsmiths can make padded armor, can they not? So, why would we have to make a padded armor segment, when the armorsmiths can bloody make padded armor without padded armor segments from us?
It makes no sense whatsoever.

This may be confusing to many people:
Actually it's a "padding segment" used in wookiee armor (what a confusing name!) which is not the same as a padded armor segment used in padded armor. If this changes your vote, just mark it down.
/agree

I actually don't care. I'm not going to be supplying them, I have no interest in supplying them, but I won't begrudge others that may want to do this of an opportunity to earn credits. So I obstain from this poll.
All I want is for them to be adding *end products* to tailor. You know CLOTHING?
hi im an aspiring tailor. They are not forcing our hand and some people will benefit from this so why hurt them??

Yes. Transfer it. I'm going AS now, and I'm kind of slipping away from my Tailoring char. Here's the post I put on the AS forum about the issue.
I absolutely refuse to make this armor, here and now. I realise that I'm not a Master Armorsmth and all that, but I think this is going to be a pain in the ass to make. You have to get a tailor to make the subcomponents.
"Big deal!" you say. "We've had to put up with tailor made subcomponents before, and we can do it again!"
But this is diffrent. Unless you are a tailor and make them yourself (which is impractical, as you won't be able to make the best stuff unless your master) you'll have to coordinate with another person. What recorces should be used?
You can provide your own, and just have them make a factory skematic, true, but what about the experemenation? Do you want all the points into Effectiveness? Half into Effectiveness and half into Duribility? What if you get a compleate failure?
It might just be me, but it seems like this might be too much work to be useful. That and the recorce requirements. I'll make it if a tailor offers to do it, but other than that I absolutely refuse.
