My Top 5:
- Additional permanent schematics (in-game, and new art)
- Expanded Colors for all: Complete color palette for all items (wookiee gear, boots, dusters)
- An option to change the texture of clothing to a glittery or leathery texture during item creation
- Add in a "numbering" system to our color grid to make matching easier
- Add in use-based or time-based decay
Follow ups (6-10):
- Factional uniforms and insignia
- Clothing Color Pallette Displaying White as only option for color 1 or 2 (including bandoliers).
- Certain items, no matter how many times we craft them, do not produce socket
- Fix vendor categories
- Retexturize certain items (i.e. formal jacket, infiltrator leggings)
I'm more of a fashion oriented tailor than a BE/stats one, which's reflected in my vote above.

Only 5! Ok, here goes:
- 0/0 Decay bug
- Colour numbering system
- Label gender/species restrictiveness (can I add categorisations in here?)
- Factional gear
- New craftable gear (specifically present non-craftable items)
To elaborate on number 5, I like the idea of reverse engineering starship comonents for the forthcoming JtL. Perhaps we can do this with clothing too? If a tailor finds an item that they cannot learn with their standard skill tree, they have the chance of unpicking it to make a new pattern. The item would have a hidden skill pre-requisite which would partially dictate the success rate together with our tailoring experimentation skill level. On a failure of course the item is lost for good.

I'm surprised no-one has put the decay issue in their top 5 list just yet. It seems to me a curcial bug. Without the decay in clothing we are restricting our return customer base. If someone is happy with their clothing there's no reason for them to return.

1. Clothing decay. Just fix it already...please.
2. Socket issues. Backpacks, yes or no? Grand Ballgown, come on. Masters should not have to make the same shirt 15 times to get 4 sockets.
3. Better matching color palette.
4. New schematics. (I'm not holding my breath. I'd even put up with limited schems and loot components to get the slave skirt though.)
5. Missing color options. Either add the color option, or remove the damn grey boxes. At this point, I don't care which, just do something. This also comes along with adding secondary/third color options to clothing that should have it, like the Noble Skirt. I adore the skirt, but having 255 color options is pointless when it only looks good in all black, or white/gold, since you're stuck with that horrible gold on the pleating. Either allow us to change that color too, or remove the gold panels.
The onlyones I expect to ever be done are 1 and 2, although most likely only #1. Realistically anyways, since they don't consider us "broken". But there's always hope, for one day, next year.
I just made up my own clothing palette numbered grid, so I didn't ask for that, although I suppose it would be nice.

1. Fix the "white" color palettes (ie., for the light bustier, some bandoliers, etc.)
2. Make uncraftable items craftable (winged hot pants, criss-cross pants, Leia's slave skirt, etc)
3. New permanent clothing schematics
4. Add numbering system for our color palettes for easier matching
5. Increase crate size to 50 (or even 100)

All VERY good!
I do have one idea that I am not sure if it has been discussed (and dismissed) or not before:
An in-game catalog of SOME kind. For those of us to rely mainly on custom orders, it would mean a world of difference to be able to have some way of displaying for the customer not only the ITEMS we can make but also it's color palette. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten custom orders in that required serious changes because of the limitations of color (and therefore having everything "match").
As it stands now, I really only have two options. Either make multiple samples of each item for approval or supply the customer with a link to an online catalog. The first option wastes valuable resources and time (esp since I do not currently have the sp to get much merchant for now) and the second (although I use it the most) to me feels like I am "handing the customer off" if you know what I mean. Like I am not really providing the service I would like to be able to.
Just an idea though. :-)

Your suggestion for our top 5 issues is to…limit the items we can make? That doesn't seem very intuitive. Why spend time removing things when you could, oh, I don't know, just not make them?

I suggest taking out the quilted vest thingy. Would anyone really wear that or the robe with the metal thing? We have a robe with the metal thing and many vest that no one wears now. The pants are all good though.
My point is why waste time adding things that NOBODY is gonna wear. I would rather have them add things that people will actually like and wear, like the slave skirt.

"My point is why waste time adding things that NOBODY is gonna wear."
I've seen people wearing all of the items you think nobody is 'gonna' wear. Don't make me post screenshots...I'll do it...I swear I will!
The slave skirt is nice, but since 77% of the characters are male (according to the server snapshot thingy they posted awhile back) that means that 77% of the population won't be wearing that skirt. If we use thereasoning that it's pointless to give us new schematics that won't be worn by a large number of players than the slave skirt needs to be left off the list because it will only be marketable to 23% of the character population (assuming it will only be wearable by female characters).
The vast majority of my clients are male characters and I cater to them. I keep the female clothing in stock but I can sell a robe of honor faster than a revealing flesh wrap.

/sneak into tailor territory....
1) Allow wookiees to wear the +5 assembly/experimentation crafting apron or add some wookiee wearablevarient with the crafting bonus.
