I've had problems with the new launchpad. YOu may need a few tries to get the launchpad to load. Otherwise, run a full scan. And make sure you have enough space for a new copy of SWG b/c that is what TC is.

You might try running the trefix.exe in your starwarsgalaxies folder. That has worked for me sometimes, but not sure if it works for beta.

Now, can somebody come and log me out of work so I can go home and play . I am SO BORED. I really hate slow days and I have nothing to do but watch the clock and read the boards

Bleh i give up

load it on both pc's gives exactly the same missing file message tried that trefix.exe and also still gives the message. done repair on both, still does it on both

Maybe a total re-install would work, but tbh i cant be bothered with that, so il just leave it and wait for the final release.

I just checked into TC-Bria last night and speed leveled my character up in Tailor to look for any changes and was plesantly surprised. There was more stuff going on there than I had anticipated. I did have a question though, and I'm not sure sure if it belongs here or should be directed to another forum or something, but I figured this would be a good place to start. It has to do with Ithorian clothing. I noticed that there were some clothing items that had a standard version and a special Ithorian version of the same item of clothing. Is this perhaps temporary or is this something that might go to Live? I would hope not, because it seems pointless and excessive to have two different versions of the same thing. For example, standard species and wookiees can both wear the same bandolier. There's no Multipocket Bandolier and also a Wookiee Multipocket Bandolier, yet the Ithorians have several clothing items which are duplicated in this way. For us it's more clutter in our datapad, and more hassle for us to stock these separate versions assuming we even try. Do you think they will relent and allow us to make these "one-size-fits-all" items rather than having separate versions for Ithorians and then everyone else? As far as the Ithorian-only clothing that I don't have any more problem with it than with wookiee-only clothing. My only concern about it is whether there will be enough Ithorians around to make it worth stocking vendors for them. Other than that I have to say I liked some of the new patterns and styles on the new Ithorian clothes, and I'm hoping that they will either redo some of the existing clothes in those styes or maybe make some new ones using them.

I can't really comment on that for now, but anything you see that seems "odd" to you, make a note to yourself, and we can address it later (remember, our top 5 are on hold until JTL ships).

Also remember that this is *NOT* our last chance to change JTL wearable issues. We can take care of these issues later in our profession requests.

It has been stated outside of beta that the Ithorians race was built using a difference model. They just could not get the size and style of the Ithorians in a human model form. The end result is that they had to go back the the drawing boards for Ithorians and start from the ground up. This is from the basic emotes right, through to complex animations. This of course would of had to include the clothes and explains the issue you ave noticed. If you look back on the news items you might find the interview posted on a 3rd party gaming site which talked more about the Ithorian race.

They are making some changes. There used to be separate backpacks for ithorians, but they adjusted to have one type and as a different race equipped it, the correct model was shown. For identical clothing, I think that is the plan. For unique clothes, it will remain unique.
