have you joined the guild yet? I think arthur's in there with us, so it might be easier to communicate

I also found a tailor that mastered and got myself some new clothing, so we can have more folks testing if necessary.

Not yet. I need to get online at the same time as you guys! Unfortunately most of my time is in the evenings when it is hard to log in because of all the other people.

I then went through all the profession in the skill interface and I can verify that all the combat related mods are still valid (stun, warcry, intimidate, bleed and cover are all in game still, though spread out more among different professions).

Are you sure about this? The CU character builder found at http://swg.bur.st/swg-cb.phpwhich claims to be updated with the current CU skillset as of April 16th, (yesterday), does not show any skillmods anywhere in any proffession for warcry, intimidate, cover, or any of the Defense vs. X skills, such as Defense vs. Stun. Be all appearances, all of those skill mods have been removed from the game. Granted, Rifleman still has a special movecalled "cover up", and other proffessions are still able to "intimidate", but there doesn't appear to be any skill mods that can be used to enhance the performance of these specials. Rifleman's new cover ability has been completely redesigned, as has all the different state effects, such as stun and intimidate. Until adequate testing is done,I think we have to assume that any BE clothing item with skillmods to Warcry, Intimidate, Cover, and Defense vs. Stun are worthless. The devs have never once since the launch of the game put any effort into cleaning up and fixing obselete skill modded items. Heck, skill mods that were taken out of the game all the way back in beta are still dropping on loot items to this day. My suggestion would be for some testers on TC-Bria to try out Defense vs. Stun clothing vs. someone use a stun inflicting special move, and see if there is any difference. The same can be done for the other BE tissues.

Well I know one thing, unless they find some other use for it, Myoflex will be no good. They are getting rid of the mind in the HAM and Ents will no longer be able to heal the mind and SOE is getting rid of Battle fatigue so no healing battle fatigue.

Last time I checked SOE said they are getting rid of mind wounds but keeping BF... and that entertainers would still be healing BF, and this was a few days ago...

I might be wrong though, as changes may have taken place.

I was going to say the same thing, and my hubby was just on TC-EP3 a couple minutes ago (until he CTD'd lol) and his character had 253 battle fatigue so to me that says BF is still in there!

Honestly though it surprises me that myoflex still sells in the current system - they have sped up wound healing speed so much in the last few patches a BE'd suit for an entertainer is not really very necessary at all.

as for the last poster's comment about that character builder - i would reccomend never panicing over something posted on an UNOFFICIAL website. My husband played around with that character builder you mentioned and found a number of innacuracies and/or incomplete things in it. I think most of our current tissues will still be valid based on the combat stuff i've seen my guildies and friends doing on TC-Ep3 to date. The biggest uncertainties being the healing ones.

Well, I just sent some /tells to a buddy of mine on TC-Ep3, and skillmods for Warcry, Intimidate, Defense vs. Stun, and Cover are no where to be found in any skilltree. That alone is pretty good evidence that all BE clothing with those mods will be worthless. Obviously someone will need to do some testing to be certain, but I would find it highly unlikely that the devs would remove all those skillmods from the skilltrees, but still keep them active in the combat calculations, especially since pretty much all the combat code has been rewritten. If I was a Tailor or a BE, or if I played on TC-Bria or TC-Gorath I'd be trying to test these skillmods as soon as possible rather than just assuming they still work just because BE tissues weren't changed.

UPDATE:

Warcry / Intimidate are now Pikeman only skills so sales of those clothes will decline

however - from what all of my combat guru buddies are telling me bleed defense clothing sales will definitely increase they all want me to start making them some because bleed is becoming the DOT now.

will keep you all posted as we keep testing

Not totally sure, but I was on Chilastra Test last night. I had on a nice robe that I was wearing I was dueling some friends of mine while wearing it and when I took it off, it was at 0/1000 Same thing happened to some of my guildies with their clothes too

yeah one of my TK/Fencer guildies revealing skirt went to 0 condition the same day i made it for her. And no surprise here, was still totally wearable. And also no surprise still clipped around the legs horribly.

i am definitely curious to find out if the condition is a bug or a new "feature". Ifclothes die THAT quickly i think we will stop getting requests for 4 socket clothes cuz the risk of losing skill tapes will be too great. Time will tell.

I got this information from Zina:

she insured her clothing before doing some combat. she died, and afterwards the clothing items that are new (since JTL) or not crafted (jedi robe) went to 0/1000, while the older items (pre-JTL) remained 1000/1000. I haven't done any testing, but I'll see if anyone has

Although I'm not a tailor anymore (I havn't been for almost a year now) I appreciate all the hard work you all are putting in for the CU.

Grinding Tailor can be very tiresome when you have few resources ot start with. Hats off to all of you reginding this proffesion to test out items that would have almost surely would have been overlooked if it were not for your efforts.
