I give schematics away. If someone wants me to make them a schematic they have to supply the materials and thenI make it for them. It cost me nothing soI don't charge for my time. Of course I don't go out of my way to do it. If I am free or sitting at my crafting station and someone comes to me I will do it. I never make schematics for others using my materials. I will sell them finished products or crates of items.

Why would you give schematics away? This is part of your skill just like anything else. Tailors are specifically the only profession that can make these schematics, and not only that they are truly the ONLY "necessary" items in the game. The rest, until skill mods are debugged are for aesthetics only.Armor serves a purpose and these cloths and schematics when you sell them are goingmainly to armorsmiths, with maybe a tiny sprinkle of Master architectinthere.You'reessentially giving away one of your unique and most "necessary" qualities about being a tailor. But to each his/her own.Not trying to tell you how toplay your game.

i use to be nice and sell schematics for 1k to non-master armorsmiths, because i thought "hey, might as well help a few people out along the way". oh boy, now i know better... after a customer throwing nasty words at me for not dropping everything i'm doing to make him a schematic, and that i won't be selling them after i get to master.

my advice... charge them a nice sum, unless he/she is a good friend.

4k for synthetic cloth schematic, 6k for reinfored panel schematic. I got ripped off by someone paying 'nicely' for a 1k schematic and who gave me 5k for it, he can forget it next time he comes to me.
