its kinda like going to SAMs club, buying bulk then resaling whatever you got from SAMs in your store. there are laws against that in some regards, but i do agree with you, in swg its pretty silly to fuss over.

I don't see what the problem is... you are selling your items and isn't that the point?

Sam's might not mind if you resold their items (though I bet the manufacturers would ), but I'll bet that if that same buyer stood outside the door and shouted advertisements for their own store they'd be asked to leave. Refusal would be considered trespassing, I doubt that the manager of any store would fail to enforce it under those circumstances.

really tho if the customer see's the prices are higher wont they come back to you anyways?

Not if she no longer has any stock because this reseller has brought her out. How will they know they are cheaper from the crafter?

Buying out stock to resell isn't the problem, its how some people play their merchant, its the deliberate attempt to ruin the gameplay of this tailor by trying to steal their customers by spamming at her shop that is the problem!

They are realy annoy, sinceI amnot playing for in-gamemoney...(Oh, but needMINIMUM wageto keepthe fun ).I want to keep well inventory, to make customer cometomy shop becouse that and price, and comunicate with them. This is my one of view forenjoy as tailor.

Put waypoint and price on item name. This is not best solution, but it was working for me. Way to bann from house does not help but this method...

If they doing for backpack, 4 sockets belt, gloves and boots (as black of course), just make crate and put vendor them for re-saleto coexistence and co‐prosperity with them as possitive direction. Also not put once at a time, justfew for certain items every day.

Is all your stuff labeled? Like SavvyLizzy's Really Cool 10k Elegant Dress? (3010 - 1000 Tatooine)? Cause if you do that, AND HAVE THE PRICE IN THE DESCRIPTION, people know where to go! I used to do that alot when I was a crafting doc (before cu )

Additionally theres the issue of some people having multiple accounts, and thus multiple crafters. I know of one guy on starsider named natejay' who crafts weapons, and in the back of his shop theres a rancor bodyguard and a spice/smuggler tools vendor with everything made by natejay-. Thats obviously clear enough, but then not everyone makes variations of the same name. If they resell his/her items, potentially those who have never visited her malls won't even be aware of the fact that they're being sold or produced by someone else, and thus they'll continue to give business to the reseller.

Of course, that reseller would be screwed if someone wanted to do a custom order, that is if they weren't a tailor who was trying to buy out the competition.

I am sorry for being the one that doesn't get the point here. you put the cloths up at a price and you got your price. What is the problem here? It wasn't like you had a vendor set up for your guild hidden away where everything was a credit and they bought up 300 items to resale.

You missed the part about standing in her mall trying to redirect customers.

i wouldn't call it griefing or harrassment, but it is pretty weak.

And yeah, she got the money for the items at the price she wanted so there's no loss. The biggest loss is the lost sales she'll have when a regular customer comes to check her vendor and it's empty. My clothing vendor is about 500 items. I'd be pretty bent if I logged in to find it empty, just because of the time it takes to restock.

I had a similar problem where someone was always buying out all my boots and gloves. So i doubled the price on the gloves and two-and-a-half'd the boots. Guess what, she stopped. I didn't care that she was buying them, but no one needs 30 pairs of uniform boots in a week. Nor do I want to craft 15 sets of boots every couple days.

In the beginning as a Tailor this bothered me somewhat too, but as time passed I realized its a mechanic of the game. Meaning that you make something and post it up for the price you wish to get out of the item you craft, a merchant class comes along buys up a bunch of that item and resells at a slightly higher market rate, its their profession remember... developers will NOT ban for this and it is a normal function in the game since the beginning of this game. If they stepped in and did anything then how could they justify not stepping in when a person sells someone a few swords for 1 mil a piece then few days later they decide that they don't like swordsman anymore, they will resell your product and either at same rate or a higher markup... if they get more money it just depends on the market atm for that item. Many merchants also bought up things such as ADKs, BARC speeders and resell at a higher rate too... its a mechanic of the game not exclusive to crafting sorry hon.. developers won't step in and do anything cause honestly the person hasn't done anything wrong even if it should be morally wrong

I suggest if it bothers you alot that you do a markup on your product, ban specific person from your shop however remember many people have alts and friends that they can just merely get to go buy for them and reimburse, or just be satisfied that you got the money out of the crafted item that you desired. I learned to let go of things like this that bothered me a while back after hearing this commentary/thoughts from a crafter friend who made me really think that it mattered not in the end as long as I got the money I wanted from posting it up for sale. Oh and another thing I did was to do custom orders if it bothered me... that way I am the one in control of who gets items made mostly but the customer is in control of ordering and getting exactly what they desire more often

I had a similar problem when I would make full outfits, put them in apack and sell them for around 10k. One day all my outfits were bought up by one person. I figured they really liked my shop, and I even thanked them for the purchases. Then, a few days laterI found a bunch of my clothing for sale on the Bazzar. This kid was re-selling all the clothing in the packs individually. Even though I admired his tactic, it ticked me off! I know I got the money I wanted, but I made those outfits for people to enjoy roleplaying, and create a base of customers, not for someone toripapart for personal profit. I really didn't want to just raise my prices because why should my regular customers have to pay. So I justbanned the guy and that seemed to take care of it.

I think part of being a crafter is not just the money, butknowing people are enjoyingthe product they got from you. These re-sellers kind of take that away.
