Thread: **THE BIG LIST**
(1) When you view neckwear, the model doesnt show. Ie: if you wear it youll see what it looks like on you but you cant view what it looks like before you craft it or when its in your inv.
(2) This is a less of a tailor bug and more of a general gameplay suggestion:
Why doesnt clothing you can make as an artisan not count towards tailor exp? Rather than all exp being completely different they should really implement it at different levels. All clothing should count towards tailor exp, and the clothing that can be made by non tailor artisans should count towards both general crafting exp and tailor exp. Its kind of stupid to make someone clothing and only get the exp for the items that are from my tailor tree, rather than all the clothing i make for the person. Also, a bunch of the components that we make constantly for tailored items count towards general crafting exp which is stupid. This should probably go for all classes... artisan food should count towards general crafting exp as well as chef exp, personal harvesters should count towards architect exp and GXP, etc etc... you get the idea. Seems kind of common sense for the gameplay really

Bugs with Gen. Crafting are rampant. I'm a third of the way up the first Architect tier from all the harvesting and crafting Personal Harvs I do.. without even having Novice.
This is an issue they are trying to resolve in general, I believe. Skills DO cross, and I would hope that an Armorsmith *should* be able to make better Bone Armour than I can as Master Artisan, and so too should my Tailor skill give me extra bonuses to clothing. But no, Tailor has a seperate branch just to give you crafting skill, so my 10 Artisan points only come with Artisan clothes, and the risk in Novice Tailoring shoots up to 40% pretty fast.
I prefer the Artisan tree giving you skill bonuses along with your new schematics. Seems like a whole waste of a box in the Elites, IMO.
i dont feel women wearing shirtless cloaks is obscene. suggestive perhaps but hardly obscene. it is more revealing to wear a metal bikini and hotpants. Id hate to see strict prurience laws. this is a cultural matter.
however, there are some clothes that seem odd to me that are gender restricted...like the Grand Healer's Robe. either gender can wear the doctor's dress but master docotrs et al want the GHR and cannot if they are males... why?

I have no idea why (female Rodian) I can't wear the Grand Healer's Robe. I want to, really I do! *sigh*
Generally, I do NOT have a problem with gender or race restrictions on clothing. What I do have a major problem with is that these restrictions aren't listed anywhere on the items or the schematic (unless I'm being painfully dense and it's right there in front of my eyes and I don't see it.)
In fact, I'd like there to be more race specific items (oddball, out there fancy stuff), as well as more nice outfits for men (like, a real tux [not onepiece - several bits], and how about a decent modern dress shirt and a conservative suit jacket - yes, I know stylistically we are in the '70s, but please, please, give me the option of making an outfit that a guy today would be comfortable wearing to an office - remember that not everyone in the '70s wore disco gear - won't someone think of the bankers??!?!). And various headwear that does not replace hair, but compliment it.
Thank you Vandessa. /bow2
Glad to see you got the job Vandessa, I have been reading your posts for sometime. You know your **edit**.
On top my point.
Numero uno, game stopping, no fun having, logic circle Tailor issue is the Tailor/Armorsmith issue. If Tailoring tree currently sets Armor color options (INTENDED OR NOT), this is why I have surrendered my Armorsmith on one toon, to consolidate on my Tailor toon.
I know that you know, that they know, that we know, that something is wrong, BUT can you make sure that they know, that we know, that they know that we know, so they can fix it?
Thanks,
