Has anyone tried using Bio-Engineer made items - as the Optional Biological components used in some Tailoring items? If so, what are the stats?

I am a tailor/bio engineer. i've made two BE componenets, but i can't put them into a synthetic cloth schematic, which has a slot for some kind of bio comp.

no one is able to answer this question. I'm beginning to wonder if you don't need Experimentation I in order to add these to the item.

I'm planning on taking that skill in the next few days, so I'll let you know the outcome!

I'm guessing you tried the micro nutrient suplement and the constrictor cloth right? The supplement I believe is for chefs, not sure though. The constrictor cloth can be used on reinforced fiber panels though and it adds +1 to bleeding defense.

I've been trying to find a BE with tissues 1 on Corbantis but so far no luck. I really want to play around with this stuff.

Some bio-engineered components can only be placed into the Reinforced Fiberplast

I feel your pain. Our Synthetic Cloth schematic does indeed have a slot of an optional Biological component for an enhancement....so SOMETHING has to be able to go in there.

I think I'll submit it as a bug, cuz so far no one here, in-game, or any website I've looked at, can answer this question.

Every other schematic is specific: Lokian wild wheat, Class 4 liquid petrofuel.

It took me a day on the forums just to figure out that a BE was who supplied ANY of these components.

So here I am, a Tailor/Bio Enginner on Tatooine (Gorath server), and I feel jaded. (plus my server's offline right now)

If I figure it out, I'll post it on the forums in every thread that asks this same question.

Hmmm, i'm gonna try something this morning...i'm gonna try grabbing one of the Organic Chem. IV bio components and see if they'll fit in that slot.

maybe all you can do to synth. cloth is add those, to boost it's health levels.

(i'm talking about an advanced solid delivery shell, or something along that line)

I play a Bio Engineer and have made bio supplements that Eva on Bria has been making into clothes.

The three supplements that work with Syn Cloth are:

Myoflex cloth treatment - + to dance healing and music healing

Passive Bio Sensors - + to wound treatment, Injury treatment and one other medic line

Charigra - + to business acumen

I ahve used the charigra or whatever its called. It gives +1 to business acument. But as far as I can tell, business acumen is not actually a skill-mod!! I cant find it in the trees anywhere Merchants seem to get +hiring, +vendors, but I dont seen any skillmod called businees acumen.

What level BE can make the other two?

Have medics and entertainers got the clothing with these biocomponents yet? Do you know if it's working?

If there is a BE on Corbantis that can make these parts, I want to work with you :0

I believe Business Acumen was a skill mod in Beta, but was removed.

A portion of the problem is that bioengineering never really got tested. By the time they got Farmer converted over and the trainers in for the new skill, there wasn't enough time left to get into the field and really give it a good shakedown. Consequently, there are a lot of problems with the profession. Hopefully along with the bug fixes and balance passes, the Tissue Engineering line will be fleshed out, with obvious side benefits for Tailoring.

Sam here, looking for a BE on Naritus. But I think we'll have more luck finding a BE on their forum.

I have a BE friend who has tissue 1, who made me some stuff to make into clothes. I made a dancer friend a sleeveless dress that give +1 to wound healing for dancers and musicians.

I'm not sure if my BE friend did any experimentation before giving it to me, but the bonuses could be a little stronger. Tho if I used three of the best treatments, I could get up to a +6 in one dress, which would make it worth more than a skill box in the entertainment healing branch.

I'm just happy to be able to produce something people might want. Without clothing decay, tho, I guess I'll just be selling to those I can till everyone has one, and then back to the old grind.
