Thread: Post your best outfits!
In a feeble attempt to lighten the mood on this board let's post our favorite outfits we have made for customers or for ourselves. ![]()
My current favorite (and the outfit I am currently wearing)is
Black Hide Boots (I find Uniform Boots too shiny in texture)
Black Leather Gloves (Mine have +2 rifle accuracy, +1 general aiming)
Red Trim Lined Shirt
Decorative Vest, Black Vest, Red Trim
Thin Striped Pants, Black-Red Stripe (cliche I know but still my favorite pants)
Another favorite is simple, a black flex-form shirt with anything else. This shirt is the little black dress of SWG. Everyone should have one. Goes with anything.
Oh and I was watching ESB the other day and noticed the pants Han Solo was wearing were striped pants and the stripes were yellow rather than red which was what I had previously thought. Maybe because in the Han Solo stories they talk about Corellian Blood Stripes which the stripes were supposed to represent. Alas that story isnt cannon but ESB is and they are yellow ![]()
Its funny now that im a tailor I pay more attention to what everyone is wearing rather than the story. ![]()
Is this just Tarquinas, or has the Decorative Vest with Two Tone Skirt taken hold elsewhere?
I dont even know how many sets of those I have made in the last week or so, it looks really cool, but its getting as old as the "I want a badass duster" requests.
Its the Dark Jedi look.
All the FS NPCs of the dark side are wearing them for some reason. Its all the rage!
my current outfit was designed to bug out people's eyes
muscle shirt - main color is our new red, pattern color is the new blue -- just stare at the spot where these colors meet and watch the funky color vibration thing happening
large pocket pants - main color is the same blue, stripe is the same red
i've already gotten a whole lot of compliments on it -- which was opposite of what i was going for, but whatever =)
Ah now it all makes sense, I should have known it had SOMETHING to do with Jedi.
HMMM, My new slogan "Dont have your FS slot yet, dont worry step right up and get your very own authentic Dark Jedi robe, just add lightsaber and....voila...instant Jedi lookalike"
*laughs* Yesterday I sold a hunting outfit... some guy asked for one, so I made green camo pants, a muscle shirt, and a day glo orange cold weather jacket I affectionately called a "Hunting Jacket". He loved it. My top selling outfit for women is black and red camo pants, black casual shoes (looks a lot like combat boots when paired with the pants because of the great rugged soles), a low-cut top in red with black trim, and a sometimes a bandolier (for effect). Some like to buy long uniform gloves to match, but I don't care for them with it. I sell a ton of that outfit.
I also love a fashionably (not fasionably ;-) ) pleated skirt and a light bodice in ice blue. I sell a lot of that.
I recently did a teras kasi artist in a black decorative vest, a black thin-pleated skirt, a cloak, and ablack sunguard. He looked VERY asian/martial-artsy. I didn't think it would work, but it did, and very well at that. I wonder if men can wear sandals. I think that would have looked good and completed the asian feel.
I wear black casual shoes, comfortable slacks in hot pink, and a black muscle shirt with hot pink trim. (I have a hate-on for boots.) I have no speciallove for hot pink, but it's a bold color that I rarely see. When I want to wear something else unusual, I wear a pair of white sandals, a white short wrap with a bright spring green/lime-ish colored wrap, and a dress blouse in that same green. People really notice it right off, because short wraps don't get a lot of wear, and that color especially doesn't.
I hope a ton more people post on this thread... I love hearing all the positive and great ideas!!

The Dress Uniform Jacket, I tend to wear alot ,gets more "Wow, what kind armor is that?" comments than just about anything else, even from novice armorsmiths, then I tell them it isnt armor.
"bummer"
For me:
Low cut top in the bright fuschia with black trim
Long uniform gloves in black
colored bangles on one wrist
Metal Band on the other wrist (it shows over the gloves so looks nice)
silver pendant
Lined shorts in the same fuschia with black trim
I love that outfit.
My male friend:
Cold weather jacket in cream and brown collar
Flex form shirt in brown and cream
comfortable slack in brown
sneakers
and he always wears his plated necklace which he never takes off because it was the first item I ever game him ![]()
One of my outfits that I like to wear, I call my 'beachwear'. It is the low-cut top in lime green, with white and pantaloons in lime green. It can either be topped with casual shoes in white, or sandals to complete the beach effect. I've made a mix and match outfit out of it, also. Sometimes to dress up, just a little, I can change the pantaloons for comfortable slacks and dress slippers. (This makes me ready to dance at the club on casual day). Then, when I am ready to slip into my Merchanting gear I add the Rugged Jacket in lime green/dark green and a plated necklace, with2 golden symbols. It is a fun outfit. Just for kicks I made a greenspec ops duster to throw on for a 'Now I'm going to go kick some butt look' . Hehehe
I also get a lot of use out of my Spiderman Underoos in the last couple of days. I guess I just like bein' silly.
