Thread: Pricing on BE enhanced clothing

OK so my girlfriend IRL and I have teamed up. We don't want to undercut anyone on Radiant, but since, my cost to her is of no importance to me in the game, I am curious what you all charge for Bio Engineer enhanced clothing. Specificly for non Master BE stuff. She is a master Tailor but I am not yet a master BE. What kind of pricing do you all use for lower level bonuses. Like +4or 5 in some clothes.

If there is a good breakdown or guide, please point me to it, I have yet to find one. I tried asking on the BE board but no one there seems to know a good pricing scheme. Do you break it down by bonus like a +1 is 500cr across teh board so, a +25/+25 would be 25000 credits on top of the clothing base?

I generally just add 4k for every tissue I use. (depending of course on how much you buy your tissues for.)

I price mine at 1k per point increase. If it costs more than 1 or 2 cloths I add an additional 5-15k max depending on how much.

I.e. Grand Healers Robe

5 Synthetic cloths

+25 Injury +25 Wound treatment

Sell for = 65k

My only problem is keeping my vendor stocked. The stuff sells pretty fast.

65k for a grand healers robe?? I must be underpriced by alot. I sell mine for 30k, but I am still making a profit because each tissues costs me about 2000 to 2500

I think tissues cost more here. Crates of stuff go in the 60k - 80k range

Personally I do subscribe to the 500cr per 1 point bonus. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I started making it and on Sunrunner, at least, I find that's not an uncommon scheme and personally I feel it's reasonable both for me and the customer. I know several master BEs and am in the process of training my alt in it so I never have a problem getting my tissues at a good rate to make this possible.

For me, it's just 5000 credits per tissue used, tacked on to the regular price of the item.

I follow the 1k per point enhanced guide, plus some markup based on how difficult the tissue is to replace/what I have a lot of in stock.

The 1k per point price is on the high end for Chilastra I think, but they still sell relatively well- I have 3 locations (player city on naboo & talus, outside of coronet) the first two sell steadily but slowly, at my coronet shop you can tell when the nearby (and likely lower priced) tailors run out of BE clothing. At this point in the saga of my bank balance, I am not in pressing need for credits, so I've set the prices based on how much crafting I have the time/inclination to do.

With an "unlimited" tissue supply, you can probabally go for a pricing scheme on the low side, since you can easily replenish your supplies for high volume sales.

I charge 500cr per +point used. Note : USED. This means an item like a Grand Healer's (which requires 6 tissues/cloth) will cost +15x6x500cr (if it's +15 cloth I have), plus the usual price of the garment = 55k, by my pricing.

For me, it's a significant profit, as I have a guildie that sells me tissues @ 250cr per +1. $$$

I dont buy tissues unless they are at least +13 bonus and try to buy only tissues that are +15. For all +15 tissues or higher I charge 15,000 per tissue/item used ,,except the taming tissue and that is 25,000. I sell all I care to make.

I sell lots of doctor items with +25 bonus as well as combo items that have bleed or stun or scent combined with camo,,and for those items, most waste a tissue so the final cost for the para-camos and spec ops duster is 45,000.

To really have a succesful shop, having the item available on the vendor is more important than the price,,

Unless your price is really insane, and even then every once in a while someone comes along and buys them.

(I managed to sell a few +25 taming clothes for 1 million back before milk harvesting)

and arent those surprises nice,,I have literally quadrupled prices on tapes at times until I was ready to actually fairly price them and had someone buy at the highly inflated price,,,

the first time it happened, was when I came to the conclusion that the auction trade forum was not the place to sell anything if you want a great price and continue to believe that to this day,,and have proven many times to others and myself that buying from a vendor where none of your friends might see really how much you paid ,,is the best way to obtain prices that are far beyond what most think would even be possible,,

Just recently I was offered 7000 for 4 identical heavy duty clasps,,,of course i refused the offer and the very next day the 4 all sold off my vendor and a price of 100,000 each,,who got the best deal, and what they really are worth I dont know,,but I do know that 400k is a lot better than 7k

I offer about 20k to 50k but I say way to go for you! Yeah I'm a big fan of vendor sales myself. But I don't jack my prices beyond reason.

100k each.... woah.

Well I guess it's no worse than offering 200k a piece for leather.
