Thread: Nivea's Outfits Pricing Compilation
Hi there,
I really like Nivea's pricing and website. Very easy for us Taylors. Unfortunately it isn't very comvenient for me to alt-tab to Internet Explorer so I put together all her pricing informations on one black and white 11"x8.5" sheet for easy printing.

You'll need Acrobat 5.0 though.
I agree that my format isn't the greatest. Feel free to comment.
A master tailor has tons of experimentation points and all items have 99% chance to get crafted with four sockets. Here you havetwo of the differences. Also it might not matter NOW, but in future when clothing decay kicks in, you'll be willing to pay the double price when your items survive 3x the time as a newbie item.
Maybe it's a mistake of doing it right now because there's no decay, but I shop and harvest only high quality resources. All my items have 66-75% durability (cant get more with current resources). So I'm not wrong by charging that much. Unless you're trying to push prices down with stupid excuses, depending on how annoying you are, I will forget experimentation. (I know I'm bad
)
Anyway, thanks for the list, since Nivea apparently makes good business with this, I'll use it as orientation ![]()
Jeez, those prices are high! No wonder I'm having such a hard time keeping my vendor stocked. My prices are based on the number and type of resources used (including from subcomponents), number of subcomponents (required factory pieces are counted twice), level required to create, and a modest "coolness" factor--and even with that factor, I don't come close to mostofthose prices.
I just can't see 1500cr for a pleated skirt, or 4000cr for a Lekku wrap. It kinda looks like the prices are based more on level than anything else.
Yay another undercutter.
One gnort mission on Moenia, Naboo: 3 minutes running, 2 minutes killing, 3 minutes running back. Gain = 2k credits.
Means what? Someone will waste 8-10 minutes playtime to buy a pleated skirt at 1500cr. Is that so hard to get that some of you people are simply putting yourself in disadvantage? Sheesh, missions on advanced planets can pay well over 10k cr.
"4000cr for a Lekku wrap"
It's 4000cr since that what people will pay. And of course it's based on level, since you have to spend a LOT more on the infrastrurcture, training, time and everything else on lvl IV items than you do on your level I items.
I had someone walk into my shop last nite saying that she'd made 200,000cr in ONE DAY doing missions and was looking to spent some on clothes. I didn't even have 200,000cr and she's making that ever day.
Now she'll get to make that everyday in style and I get to run my harvesters another day. heh
I don't think that people are ignorant of the fact that money is floating around like crazy in the game, I think its the fact that some people don't think those prices are fairly priced from their costs, time, etc..
Its perfectly legite for you to think that 4k for a lekku wrap is fairly priced for your cost and time, just as much for me to think that 3k is fairly priced for my time and cost.
But since everyone seems to be so anti against any competetion, and so defensive against other tailors using a different pricing scheme or valuation on different items then they do the bashing and assumptions continue.
The only people we know what prices they sell at are those that have listed prices here or those you have seen in game. Until then stop making asusmptions about what other people are selling their items at because as the saying goes...
Fawe
Flurry
Two reasons I think:
1. There are now more master tailors on my server that charge less than me
2. I've pretty much stopped doing custom orders
However, I'm enjoying the game a lot more as I now only need to spend 30-45 minutes a day restocking my vendors rather than 3 hours.
