Thread: Clothing Schematics Pricing Spreadsheet v1.2
Due to some personal problems and work taking a large chunk out of my time as well it took a bit longer than expected, but I’ve finally got the next version of my clothing schematics spreadsheet done. If you’ve got Excel then click on the link to download it (and I hope the link works in this daft forum):
Clothing Schematics v1.2
Changes since version 1.11:

Fixed miscalculation of component costs (was using resources for the component above it)

Added "Order" sheet for calculating costs of larger orders (including resources shopping list)

Added a "Multiplier" column to the "Schematics" sheet with both general and level-based multiplier numbers.

Added Expenses sheet for calculating expenses and expenses per unit cost.

Added unit cost per resource based on maintenance, power, income and expenses.

Added multipliers for resources and components.

Added multiple variable sets.

Changed width of the "Instructions" and "Info" sheets to fit on 800x600 resolution

Changed the background color of some columns on the "Schematics" and Components" sheets to indicate calculated slots

Changed "Factory Stacks" count to "Factory Identical Components" count

Changed the type field based on the new sorting in the crafting tool and the bazaar (with slight modifications)

(I noticed that I mis-listed the fixed component costs under v1.1… I’ll fix that as soon as I can)
Any tips, remarks, questions, problems, mistakes, etc I’d love to hear them. Particularly the new type field is probably wrong for a lot of the higher schematics so I’d love to hear what to change there.
One thing though, let’s try to keep the “your prices are way too low” discussions out of this. If you want to discuss that with me then feel free to start a new thread I’d be happy to join and discuss it with you, but leave it out of this one. (And as those with v1.11 might notice I’ve significantly increased my prices based on previous discussions on this, so don’t say I’m deaf to the issues).
Anyway, enjoy the spreadsheet and put it to good use. ![]()

Wow!
Somebody has really done their homework here. ![]()
Thank you for your hard work and contributions to the tailoring community.
Thank you both. ![]()
And it seems either someone has a grudge against me or we've got someone handing out random one-stars again. ![]()

This is going straight into my little laptop so I can use it when I'm playing. This must have taken a lot of work, but it looks like a lifesaver! I especially love the new orders section, I'm getting ready to start working on PA uniform orders for a few groups and that will be a huge help!
I've been using your v1.1 spreadsheet for several weeks now. Once I tweaked the inputs a bit, I got price values that I'm very happy with... high enough to where I'm making good money, low enough that people buy them consistently.
I did have some issues with the pricing calculations, but judging by the changes you listed it looks like you fixed most of them. I'll check it out tonight and repost here if I have any more suggestions.
Thanks again!
Thanks all, I’m glad you like it. ![]()
Yes, it was a lot of work, but I loved doing it (or I wouldn’t have done it
) so not really work at all. And it taught me a lot about Excel spreadsheet… I hadn’t really made any spreadsheet before this.
Ill_Omen (or anyone else for that matter), any more issue with the pricing calculations left? I’d like to make it such that it’s useful for almost everyone, regardless of how they prefer to calculate their prices.
And any other suggestions, remarks, etc are more than welcome. ![]()

Wow, please act as if you aren't aware of the people that aren't really agreeing to your **edit**ed up "fun promoting" pricing, especially now with lack of decay (or it's retarded remedy soon).
