that and the starting outfits are quite umm... craptacular

sure you could run around in your armor, but healing in it is a bitch

sure you could run around in your underwear to heal, but then you'll just be copying everyone elses outfit - and we tailor's know that doesn't happen in this game

Try again. Tailor. You know, like Tim.

And who says, that we want respect? We just want customers spending their credits in our shops.

help us understand your craft is worth having. aside from the koolness factor that is. i just bought a shirt that gives bleed resistance. what else are tailors capable? we newbs need help understanding how you can help us. do you have other garment features that will help us in the field/battle field? do you have pant features too? maybe dizzy dampening head gear etc.

I think it's fairly obvious that you are not a player who could benefit from anything we can make. That's not a dis on you, there are just players out there who care how they look, and those who don't. Fortunately, those players who don't care don't have to deal with tailors, and we don't have to deal with them, so everyone's happy.

i saw the post this person made before it was deleted, and i *have* to make a comment:

i honestly didn't understand your post. i had a hard time trying to tell if it's a troll, or really a post about questions. however, when the word "tailor" is spelled out on the top, misspelling it doesn't show any respect towards us. if you don't respect us on our own forum, why should we respect you?

as for the other post, that was just plain rude. when clothing decay is implemented, have fun running around nekkid.

see me as you like, so long as you understand "i like the idea of tailors", but the majority of you are jerks. there no willingness on this board to inform the very people who you bother you so badly. lastly, the mispell was unintentional, my coment was a jab at the lack of edit button.

The people that bother us isn't the clueless newbie.

It's the leet doods, the just plain rude people, the people that expect us to drop everything and spend thousands in credits to planet hop to them because they dont want to come to us, then who get mad when we say no, especially when they want a pair of 500 credit pants.

And we dont get just 1 or 2 people like this we get hundreds and hundreds of them, Im a very busy tailor and I get at least 5-10 of these a day. and it's just not one /t a piece the conversations usually suck up a good half hour each. and these people all have us on their friends list so it starts the second we log on.

You think about it, you add that up and if you were honest, if you had to deal with this EVERYDAY you would be stressed too

with respect to the original question. we can offer clothing with slots that you can fill with various loot drop skill enhancers (the roll of tape looking ones) although iv heard they dont work too well if at all at the moment.

also we can add enhancements to our clothes via bio engineered cloth treatments. the cloth treatments can go in reinforced fibre panels and synthetic cloth. but currently we cannot add them to the factory manufactured cloth we use in most of the higher skill clothing (tier 3 or 4). these cloth treatments add effects such as bleed resistance.

of course we can only add these enhancements to clothes that actually use the reinforced panels and synthetic cloth. (there are some clothes ie cloaks that dont use additional components besides standard resources)

well, if you bothered looking at the other non-tailor posts people make on this forum, you would see that tailors gladly answer questions when they're asked in a friendly manner. in fact, most of us already deal with numerous in game tells from people asking the same questions. frankly, your original post didn't strike me as friendly, as i assume the same with the other tailors... which should explain the lack of response.

i know people make spelling mistakes (after almost every post i got into the habit of using the "check spelling" button, so i don't get flamed for my errors) but a post full or errors make it seem like you're not taking us seriously.

the other posts were uncalled for. so you wish us ill because we didn't answer your question the way you wanted? i would've gladly provided info if i didn't read the other posts you made. you came to our board to insult us, and having one of them deleted should be enough. next time if you have a question, please post it in a constructive manner.
