I'm surprised that there are not more (non-armor) helmets and headwear available. It seems that of the few in the game (armor included) half of these are just goofy and off the wall looking. As a result, the few good looking headwear items are grossly over used. Several different types of helmets (nonfaction/non armor) and hats need to be added to the game to add more variety. Star Wars is just as much about the "Look" as it is about the "Feel". Helmets and headwear in SW was an everyday thing. Some suggestions:
Beret
Cap (plain and camo)
boonie style
watch cap style
various flight and protective helmets
fashion hats
Not sure what its called, but folded up, its shaped like a flat rectangle. Military personnel wear them.
Add any ideas for headwear that you may have.

hehe.. sounds good to me!
you mentioned flight helmets, just wanted to elaborate on that and make sure it covered the space type... tie figher and rebel alliance helmets... it would even be nice to have some racial specific ones, like a mon cal helmet that is different from a rodian one... rather than just having them stretchand look all weird...
also, masks andeyewear... and cowboy hats for the rangers... heh
just make sure they all come in wookiee sizes too, we know hats can come in XXL because of the chef hats...
and maybe while they are doing this artwork they can remodel some wookiee flightsuits, hehe...

I would lovefor the Endor Commando helmet to be craftable (now that it's no longer available even from quests). And to get the Rebel helmet from A New Hope (the white/black domed one).

That is called a garrison cap.

I'd love to see more hats in game. It always confused me why they never did include more. I'd like to see more head dresses for the women who want to be fancy. Currently Twi'leks have a pretty good selection, but the one for the rest is just dopey looking. I want something I can wear to a ball! The should also toss in masks, like the ones at costume parties that cover only your eyes. And flight helmets, definetely! I don't want any drain bamage from flying around!

I saw a cool headband with danglies on an old pre-release gameshot picture in an ad for SWG in a gaming magazine from 2 years ago.
They also had a pic of a Mon Cal in full Mon Cal outfit from Return of The Jedi.
But I really just want the slave skirt, more boot colors and more small glove colors.
Is that so hard???

I agree with all of the faction headwear being craftable to some degree... I'd also like to see some sort of headgear that didn't remove all the hair when equipped.

Unfortunately that would be art-resource heavy because the art department would have to create a model for headwear with each and every hairdo. My guess is that this is never gonna happen.
