Thread: So Frustrated!
I feel your pain! You must be making the striped slacks too?

I am so frustrated tonight. I spent 3 1/2 hours making clothing trying to get 4 sockets in items. I made a total of 250 items and got only 7 items that ended up w/4 sockets. Grrrr. Does anyone else have this problem? I know this is all chance and all that but it just irritates me so much that I can't get a better ratio than that.Atm w/o being able to do factory crates..(w/o them going back to default color) this just is almost not worth it.
Thanks for letting me complain.

One reason I do no do 4sox
I do not run factory crates of items either, it is all done by hand, so what sockets are there is it.
And I do not even blink when turning them down for BE with 4sox {even with the 'but I'll pay so much'}
Two yrs as a Tailor...BE and sockets are not what makes my creds.
Clothing itself does that.

I do offer folks who want a small BE 4 sockets order but will pay the option to pay me per try. The price is half of what the item would've sold for per try, and I keep the trials. I make sure they know that it's completely random, and some folks will say "could you try x times or until you get 3 sockets?" I'll agree if they're nice

I completely agree with this one. With any normal clothing I make, I don't really care about sockets and neither do my customers, but with all the BE items that you can have, it seems that they ONLY want those with 4 sockets. With the factory crate bug, it's just not worth doing something that isn't the default coloring...so I end up doing it all one by one. The other day I did an order and started with 25 in the crate...and ended up with 7 left in the crate before I got even 1.
I hate the fact that it is a random thing, and that even with crafter buffs, it does nothing to anything involving our craft. I wish there was a way that those buffs would help with sockets...that might give the entertainers more involvement as well.
