Gunman21 (Pikeman Correspondant) said that Q-3PO is working on changing some titles for professions, and is getting there Expert Pikeman title changed...
We have Cleaver, Battlemaster, Expert Heavy Swordsman, and Warrior.
I personally would like to see Expert Heavy Swordsman and Cleaver be removed....
This is my thought
1. Champion (replacing Cleaver)
2. Battlemaster
3. Warrior (replacing Expert Heavy Swordsman)
4. Warlord ( moved Warrior to defense line)
StGabe, your help would be appreciated on this

But i love the title "Cleaver"
The "expert heavy swrodsman" is kinda ... lame

I can have Battlemaster, Cleaver or Warrior right now, but I choose to keep Battlemaster. Until of course I hit master heavy swordsman

Warlord would kinda be above Master.. Come on, a warlord is almost like a King.. Too much. Heavy Blademaster or somehting would be better then.

Cleaver, Warrior, and Battlemaster are all really awsome titles. As for Expert Heavy Swordsman......thats just lame. Its the same with most professions, instead of comming up with cool new names, they just take the profession name and slap on Expert or something dumb like that. I really hope they consider changing those titles to something a little more creative.

Im not really a fan of the cleaver name, never have been. Thats the only title i would like to see go.

I think the title should relate to the actual tree, something like cleaver or berserker sounds like the tree would have moves that hack your opponent to peices. This profession doesn't really have that. Lol shogun doesnt sound like a bad title

the titles do seem rather biased to the power hammer and two handed cleaver. It's prolly me, but they just sound like I'm a fat guy with big metal chunks of armour, a huge 4 foot axe who's insanely slow but very strng. I'm not. I refuse to touch power hammers as a swordsman, and using my 2.5 speed curved sword I'm capped in speed, looking a lot more like a blademaster,a master swordsman (drop the heavy), a warrior perhaps. I like Guardian as well for Defense line, but that has nothing to do with swordsman of course, but neither does warrior
I'd definately prefer for my master title to be Blademaster or Master Swordsman, even Dances With Blades, anything except Heavy swordsman

How about...
1. Slasher (think area attack 3 with scythe blade)
2. Battlemaster
3. Warrior
4. Cleaver (relates to accurate strikes)
And for the final box, Master Swordsman. Never cared for the 'heavy' part

i like cleaver, battlemaster, and warrior, they are some of the better titles in the game. but expert heavy swordsman is kine of boring, and dull. the fencers have the title bladeweaver (or something like that) how about replacing the expert heavy swordsman to heavy bladeweaver, (not sure, but it doesnt have as much of a kick as the other titles). hmm. slasher, could work, but i'm not a big fan of that, maybe something to go with the weilding the powerhammer (cleaver is more of a title defining a person with a sword of sorts, battlemaster is neutral for that, and warrior is neutral for it as well) maybe crusher, or something to that effect...
cant think of too many ideas right now, havent had any caffene yet today.
