Big thanks to Gorecki for compiling these issues. Here are the designers’ responses to the top 5 issues (optional 6th is the Correspondent’s pet issue). We have 32 professions to get through so we apologize for the brevity of the answers.

1) Attack Range – Swordsmen receive the message “target is out of range” too often.

Sounds like it’s a client/server problem. We’ll look into this for you.

2) Negative Modifier – Players are confused on where the negative modifier comes from and if there is a way to improve it.

We’ll investigate this and find an answer.

3) Special Moves – Expert Fitness needs a new skill or special, while 2h sweep and 2h area are too similar in what they do.

We need to better inform you of the benefits of all special moves in game. We'll work on that.

4) Scythe – While there is a certification for it, the players can’t seem to find anyone who can make it or drop it.

This is a quest weapon that will be coming soon.

5) Swords for Swordsmen – Swordsmen would like to see more swords offered to their profession. Right now the starting weapon for the swordsman tree is an axe.

More swords are on the way!

6) Armorsmith Power Ups – How do power ups for armor work? And can armorsmiths make them?

There are no armor power ups at this time.

what about explaining about how area attack is spin2 + sweep2? And because of this the defensive column is completely useless.

hmm, after I think about it a lot, there's honestly no difference between sweep2 and area2. Except area3 is supposed to be better than all, but isn't working properly. Sweep2 lowers posture but doesn't add much dmg while area2 adds dmg, And if I'm not mistaken, area3 does more dmg and is as fast as spin2 and sweep2.

Geez, that kinda sucks. Those issues are TOTALLY not our top issues.

But oh well, at least they are trying to do something for us.

Yep...those details we got from you after the first mail had already been sent.

The only good thing we have for now regarding that issue that they intend informing us more about specials.

Which is good....because then we can say "you said this or that about this special...this is how it works or doesnt work in the game"

But eventually yes....some of the answers were very brief....yet i would say: we have contact

Greetings

Ok...one last thing:

some of you have maybe only recently started to read/contribute to this board.

As i'm only limited to one or two floats i didn't stick it up there...but for those of you who missed it: here's the link again:

That mail was sent about two and a half weeks ago. As the devs had asked us to wait for their answers to our first mmail before sending out the next, i created a thread containing a DRAFT version of our second mail....which will meanwhile need some important modifications i believe...also in the light of getting the big patch tomorrow....

You can find that draft here:

...again: this hasn't been sent out yet

Have a good night
