Thread: Change to our bleeds
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Development&message.id=766236
I'm still not sure if I agree with it, it'll definately put a damper on our ability to counter kiters in pvp. This is good news for tka's as they no longer have to worry about an incap from the DoTwhile they meditate. Thoughts?
So thats... 7 or 8 useless moves now?
that does seem a little rough considering that it is one of the few, and I do mean few, good moves we have... Don't you just love watching their mind tick down... and down... and down -> incap =)
figures :/ that is the best attack we have too. guess i'll go tka then, cause i know as soon as i do they will nerf dizzy kd.
this is a horrible idea, not only should bleeds incap, but so should poisons. if you don't like it, then pick up medic and get some first aid. or go doc and get cure poison. there is no good reason for this nerf.
at some point, maybe the devs will start fixing broken stuff like food and stats bug, instead of breaking things that work.
Or are you all just hit and run? Thats not the way of the warrior
it'll definately put a damper on our ability to counter kiters in pvp.
Half of the game is already lost to me because meleers aren't particularly suited for PvP. And now they take away the one slim chance we had at all of making a difference.
This development team is seriouslyfarked up. As if they don't have enough broken things left to fix, they continue to screw around and break things that were working at least moderately well. How the hell is anyone supposed to figure out which profession they want to play, or even just how to play this game well, when they change the skill paradigms and game rules every 3 weeks?
Or is the plan to just constantly break / change things so no one really has a clue as to what they want to do or how to do it?
Four years after the development process began and four months after launch and they still haven't even worked out something as basic as the combat model? Watching the player cities and mount additionsutterly disintegrate oughtta be a hoot. They'll probably have all of the kinks worked out by 2005.
And did anyone hear that the space expansion isn't coming for another year? These guys are on the same development cycle as iD, who announced Doom 3 likefour years ago and still don't know when it'll be ready.
This was a major problem for me when doing PvP. Some medic or rifleman would hit me with a DoT before i closed to my melee range, and then kited me.
And what, exactly, arewe gonna be able to accomplish with a single hitpoint? He's still kiting you and 4 of his pistoleer buddies are shooting at that last point. If fail to see how this is gonna make a difference for anyone. I get incapped in 7 seconds instead of 6. Yippee.
one thing i wish game companies would do is learn from blizzard (for those of you that dont know it is the same company that relased diablo). people are willing to wait for a working, well worked, finished product. look at almost every game that blizzard relased, they had to push back their release dates to finish the game up, and put out a good product.
to compare the wait for this game to blizzards mmorpg world of warcraft.
i first heard of world of warcraft back in late 99, and then they went offical with it in mid 2000. and dont expect to release it untill next year.
now how long has sony and lucas arts had this game in the works? i think my old roomate told me that they started advertising it back in 2001 or something like that? dont quote me on that because i am not sure.
