i thought 100 percent resist mobs still took dmg be it small amounts? is this more stupidityor recent change?

and before somebody cries that TK's couldn't kill it either - they are suppose to have the disadvantage of not having weapons and varity in their attacks.



ANOTHER reason the scythe should have been something BESIDES kinetic.

Well, no other melee profession can hurt Axkva Min (unless a Pikeman already has a lance from her).

I hate that 100% resists exist period. It just makes grouping against these guys no fun as invariably there are people who can't hurt a target. But all things said Swordsmen do tend to have very favorable resists for most targets. I know that blast resist is very low on the new Tuskens and I believe that it is also tends to be so on the new Corvette mobs.

i seem to remember in the past, mobs with 100 percent resists still took dmg - now they don't.


i don't mind a one or the other thing, or both - if we had an acid, cold ect weapon.

And gensoians were weak to blast which is nice...... blast is great.


but i guess there are just some mobs you have to run from or use bad language on until they give up?

haha

who knows.

Mokk Rockshapers are 100% blast/100% kinetic, which is bloody annoying because they are NOT tough mobs, I fought one for about 5 minutes and did nothing to it, so I just gave up and burst ran away from it, it's bloody irritating considering I have TWO medium armour piercing weapons and can't do jack to captain bloody caveman.

lol i had a run in with one of theres and i ended up tanking it for about 15 mins while a novice pistoleer i was with killed the thing entirely with bodyshot2. except for them i found that cave quite fun

I discovered Webdancers shortly after I mastered. I think my bleed was slowly taking damage from it, but I had to pull out a cdef and run, rather than loose my 2500+ buffs.

Wouldn't this all be resolved if Armor Piercing worked right?


I can't say I completley understand how it is supposed to work, but if I have a AP2 (Med) weapon, and something is Light AR, I should be doing ATLEAST full damage. If they have no armor, I should get 125% damage. If they have Medium Armor, I should do damage relavant to the resistances of the armor unless it is vulnerable to my damage type, then I should be doing 100% damage again. If they have Heavy AR, then I should get a 50% penalty, then a penalty from resistances. (This is my opinion, probably wouldnt work..but you get an idea what Im thinking).


As it stands, I don't think Armor Piercing does anything at all. If Im using VK's (Light Armor Piercing) against a Light Armored opponent, the opponents armor is taken into account, but not my armor piercing.



Hope I dont make myself sound like an idiot Just seems like AP isnt working.

Don't whine man... Swordsmen have it better than so many other professions. Pretty much ALL of the high level things in the whole game have very low Blast resistance. Should you be able to kill EVERYTHING? Accept that you are not the most powerful thing in the SWG universe
