I notice they 100% loot credits now, but the last week or so I rarely get the completely looted the corpse. In saying this I must qualify myself. I have been hunting NS prob for 10 months now and it constitutes my only fun in this game. I kill every type, but tend to focus on protectors and spell weavers. My luck looting protectors is atrocious, never seem to get anything off them. So I do this alot and I have noticed it. Just wanted to know anyone else has. One night after a 3 hour buff session I walked away with one crystal and some clasps as my only loot of the night. 2 completely looted this corspe in 3 hours. Also, you guys having any probs soloing elders? I find them tough as hell if they pull out a AP2 weapon as well as needing a new set of armor after each one.

On another note. If this well has dried up a bit. Where can I go to solo high end mobs with a decent shot at some loot?

i've been hunting for most of today, i'm looting plenty of stuff, it's just all crap. And the elders seem ok, although I haven't been hunting them for all that long.

Also, I feel the need to share that for some reason I keep getting more heavy leather drops. I've got like close to 30 of em now. sheesh...

It seems like we see this post once a week or so. The problem with random number generators is that they are often streaky. We don't remember the time we get 3 good loots in a row nearly as much as when we get none for a long time.

Anyway, I haven't heard anything about a loot nerf. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, but you always have to wait on these things to find out if it's just bad luck or a real change.

Gabe.

Certain mobs should automatically drop good stuff. Let me give you an example.

For an entire seven day week, I was the one who killed Axkva. In those seven days I looted : One set of Vibroblade Units that I sold for a mil a pop, pretty good. Two Nothing of Values. Three credits. One Heavy Duty Leathers. That's just stupid. Axkva should automatically drop the units or the schematic, heh.

Amen I'm tired of killing "Super Mobs" and getting 23 credits. If I wanted credits I'd go run a mission. What this game lacks is a static loot table, all the random number **edit** is pointless. Certian mobs (Elders, Krayts, Axkva etc) should always drop a certian level of item keyword ALWAYS. Every other MMO I've ever played when you killed a high level mob you always knew you were going to get something good, sure youmight not be able to use it but you could at least sell it off.Hell the stats could be random it doesn't have to be static items just somethingabove a base%. However, at the same time I also think it sould take groups of players to kill these not just 1 swordsman with uber gear.

agreed if it wasent for 1 thing.

Good loot from the "super mobs" as you call them would ruin the game

1. Swordsman is THE PvE profession

2. Everyone would become swordsman for the loot chanse

3. The borked state of the gamethat alows players to solo these mobs will eventualy flood the market with rare/exceptional/legendary and extremly good stuff

The "the good mobs always drop good stuff" dream would be ok if it took a 20ppl group 20mins to kill it, but the "solo" game this is would ruin itself, you call them super mobs, what part of them is super? a exprienced swordsman with speed tapes can make elders under 10mins easy, add a rifleman friend to that and your down to 3mins

True..making so called "super mobs" always drop something good would unbalance the game severely..but the loot system could use a revamp..as the tables are so random that it isn't even worth the armor decay, IMO, to take on NS when 99% of the time they drop junk...

I don't think the loot tables have changed any. The issue is how hard they are to kill though, let me explain. If you are killing meatlumps for loot, it doesn't matter that 90% of them only have creditsor a cdef pistol, becuase you kill 1000's an hour and they take one shot. With nightsisters, its the same loot table. The difference is that each one is a pain in the you know what to kill, so when 90% of them drop credits it seems much less fair when compared to the amount of time, and weapon/armor decay fighitng them. Say 1 in 500 drop something good, it can take quite a long time to kill 500 elders, but withAakuans for example can be done in an evening.

I know this. Before the npc's got their specials back, I could get up to 8 crystals and tons of NS lances, pikes and armor segments and shards. Before I left to go kill NS, I would try to have at least 30% of my inventory avail for all the loot. The reason I sense the nerf is the change in the credits looted. Before, I could kill a NS mob and loot nothing, no credits at all and the corpse would stay there. Now, 100% of the time I get a certian amount of creds. This is proof they changed something and its a natural reaction to think they may have messed with the loot drops by compensated with looted more credits which is crap. BTW, I tried playing city of heroes and found it unplayable because it has no loot drops at all, even though the game was fun and very well made. I just need a lil motivation to go out and kill stuff.

i noticed yesterday on dantooine, i was in a group who were hunting mokk/janta and the like, and most of the loots were 2,3,5 creds... I've never, ever got creds from the cavemen before... Maybe my FS Luck skillmod working in reverse for the group to make my loot seem great tho My loot of.... nothing, at all.

I have never looted a single item of consequence from a NightSister and I've killed hundreds of the buggers
