TKA With 46-180 VK(Which Cost Sliced 20k)


DPS= 430, Across All Specials, 350 Mitigated


Rakririan Burnout Sauce Increases TKM DPS By 12, Their is No Similar Increase In DPS Available To Any Other Profession, Bringing Their DPS To 362 Mitigated.


Swordsman With248-430 2.4 Scythe(Which Cost 800K) 2.0 Speed With Speed Powerup


Before Mitigation


DPS= 537.5, Base Attack, Headhit3= 477, Two Hand Hit3=430


After Mitigation


DPS= 401, Base Attack, Headhit3= 356, Two Hand hit 3= 285




Mitigation Was Created To Insure TKM Dominance



Shoot, I have to pay 800k for an uber scythe, to match TKM Dps by 6 points, when that advantage is completely blown out of the water due to food. Food cost 10k, VK's 20 K.


A Fairer And Much More Accurate Comparison Of The Two Classes


1. Accuracy- Base Accuracy, TKM Is 47% More Accurate Than A MHS

2. Speed- TKM Is 45% Faster Than A MHS

3. Melee Defense- TKM Melee Defense 3 Times Greater Than A MHS

4. Ranged Defense- TKM Ranged Defense 3 Times Greater Than A MHS

5. Toughness- TKM Toughness Is 25% Greater Than A MHS, Making DPS Disparity Greater


Notions Of Swordsman Advantage Debunked


1. Dizzy- TKA Posesses Combat Equilibrium,Making This 'Weakness' Laughable


2. Stun- Stun Attacks Lowers Ones Defenses, Swordsman Have Few, This 'Protection' Is Laughable


3. Intimidate- The Only Hope For The Inaccurate Swordsman To Strike TKA, Whilst On

Ones Back Due To Knockdown. A Success By The Swordsman Against TKM,

Results In Halved TKM Defenses, Still 25% Greater Than A Swordsman Thereby,

And Cuts TKM DPS By Half. The Loss Of An Attack In Implementing Intimidate By The

Swordsman, Lowers His DPS By Half For One Round, Due To A Lost Round. Low 20

hey guys will you explain to tom.. since he has posted this on several of our tkm topics that intimidate doesnt make one harder to hit.. it just lowers the damage that the target can do to you..


where does this guy get his numbers from.. of course a tkm is faster than somone swinging a 2 handed sword.. ever lifted a claymore sheesh

Intimidate lowers the defenses and dmg output of your target.



2 Sources


Read the skill as described under control s


1. When an enemy is intimidated they are not able to hit their target as often.


2. From Launch and Beta "Intimidate increases chance of being hit by attacks


3. The function of halved dmg output is easily obseved, go fight a creature, observe its dmg, creatures


have very low difference between min and max dmg, do intimidate and see it halved

For those without the skills of observation, Intimidate lowers the defenses of the target, lowers their accuracy, and halves their damage, for the duration.

comparing the stats/ the Dps/ the speacials/ mitigation/ toughness/ defence/ accuracy will only do one thing for you...

Lol damn if those numbers are correct thats pretty screwed up. On the note of reality, we should defenantly be slower than a tkm, but there is no way in hell im going to say someone punching me in the face hurts more than getting my face crushed by a power hammer, or blade of any kind. That damage migitationcrap is laughable.

Tka have also intimidate, and they've stun...wich we don't have. It's even worse than you think.

Ive never lost a duel to a TKM, im master swordsman, master brawler, master teras kasi, and got a little of fencer...once publish 7 is released, ill be able to have more fencer so I can surrender scout...

try playing TKM and you will see its not all that great, i rarely loose duels against TKM and normaly its something along the lines of they are buffed and im not when they do win one. also most TKM have no clue how to play their class and never use anything other than KD2 and unarmedhit3 and thos are the ones i am gaurenteed to win against. yeah they do more DPs but they dont have any good pool speciffic attacks and they fact that all my armor is 80% kinetic or better kinda makes it really suck to be them(well to be fair most of my armor is 80% or better against any damage type but stun)
