I made novice heavy swordsman. Im not sure what everyone in Melee professions is complaining about, this is fun as hell. I did two hand hit 2 with a power hammer and did 2628 dmg! I was wondering what types of dmg with the power hammer I could expect with two hand hit 3?

Does anyone still use the Cleaver, though the power hammer does more dmg, I noticed my cleavers wound chance is 48%

The max someone hit for was 17K with a power hammer. At least that i have heard of. I believe from reading posts, that the average with a PH is around 5K. But it also depends on the mobs. If i go out and hit a gorg, i'm gunna hit it for a ton because it has no resists. If i hit a krayt dragon, its going to be for junk.

At novice heavy swordsman, its not theoretically efficient because your skill mods are still in there infancy. The 2h curved sword may be a better choice because it has a far greater chance of actually landing because of the accuracy, and it swings fast. But hey, as long as your happy, thats what counts

I'm a master swordsman with a Power Hammer with power up 556.

The hardest I've hit so far is 7316, against an ST.

Just wait until you try PVP or get some reasonably hard missions where the stormtroopers run. Try Fort Tusken or the squill cave. You will get a rude awakening..

can anyone giveme the coords to the squill cave?

just a little hint for kitting mobs.... pull out a fp pet with range and have it attack they wont run... $19.95 plz! heh =)

I amat intermediate heavy swordsman and i am not getting anywhere near those numbers with a power hammer, i think the most i get with the 2 hand hit 2 is 1500-2000, I am going to look at the numbers again, I am using the 2 hand curverd as my main weapon because of the problems i ve seen with the power hamer, not to mention on the speed differnce i can easliy and reliably hit 1500 2hand hit 2 on most mobs with a low ham cost to me and at a great speed.

If you can please post the complete stats of the power hammer you are using.

Mine i belive is at 4.9sec attack 100-512 damage, cant remeber the range modifiers, ham cost are 103,46,20.

I am now looking for a new powerhammer after the patch anyway for the reduced ham cost.

Same......... I don't get anywhere near the numbers posted on these boards. Either someone is kidding themselves, or some servers work VERY differently than others. I average around 700-800 with the PH. I think my TOP hit was 1500 on something easy.

picket longhorn on dantooine, miss, 800, 1600, miss, 2300,miss, miss,2100, miss, 3000, miss, 623, 1500,

next one with 2 hand curved sword

1200, 1500, 1523, 1000, 900, dodge, 1500, 1500, 1500

My friend is the one that hit 17k combat chat. It was on a storm trooper holding a rifle and was knocked down. The most I've done melee vs melee was a little over 5k with my power hammer. Curved swords around 3.5k

Im novice heavy Swordsman, and i made 3700hits to a tusken raider, i used the Ph2 and a curved sword.

I have a question, what weapon should i use after curved sword ? thx.

Try the Area Attacks on Tuskens, You can wipe a entire room out, I believe I got 3 of my boxes through killing tuskens..
