Warcry is our next skill to go. Sounds as though as soon as a "delayed" mob takes damage, then the delayed state breaks.

Another blow to brawlers everywhere.

I'm so bummed now, I hardly feel like playing.

First they took our bleeds, which basically bent us over.

Now they're taking away one of the few damn things we have, warcry, and making us squeel like a damn pig.

And defense stacking won't work anymore either.

Basically after publish 7, swordsman are going to probably be the worst PvP profession. Yeah, pikemen suck, but they at least can get nightsister lances, which can be insanely powerful with a nice mind DoT.

Swordsman will have no defense, no armor piercing capabilities, no status effecting attacks, and no cool skills like meditation.

Oh, but we get a scythe, which does worthless kinetic damage, which makes it worse than a PH. Yay....

If doing damage without being hit is so bad, they better nerf kiting next.

I must admit im feeling a bit bashed here. Swordsman and Brawler made us a little bit competitive. Surt is a wookie too so basically the big wookies has took a right hammer blow to the head with the bleed and now proposed war cry changes.

well cant say i didnt see it coming. Sadly the skill thats puts us on par with cowardly kiters also happens to be over powering in pve. I'm going to be learning new tactics as i wont quitbeing the swordsman fencer i am.Pve i understand how this is needed, pvp i have to ask iswarning shot getting the same effect? Also i have to ask what happen to warcry 2? Too many question right now.I definatley keepin an eye on this one.

Not warcry!! Damn, this game is starting to piss me off. Everytime I do one thing, it gets screwed(flame DoT) Guess I'm meant to just suck and get no were in this game.. Thanks Devs

Mind hit got sorted and that was one of the main problems. Warcry took a hit, not exactly great but liveable.

The bonus to hit looks good, but it really depends on how much of a bonus it is. If its 5-10 then its not really worth having since it doesn't help anything.


The warcry thing is a bit of a downer, but they probably see it as more of a crowd control skill so you can delay the others while your attacking one person.


At least they would have sorted /mindhit

I am a master swordsman in SWG.My background is from DAOC / EQ and it sounds as if warcry will become more of a "PBAOE (or point blank area of efect) MEZ" for you that are familiar with the term. this is not a bad thing. it gives us crowd control. something we need badly. Lets see how it is before we turn on SOE. Although they did screw us on the bleed. But still I think this could be a positive thing.
