To me the logical choice would be my Scythe. NS Elders have VERY high blast resists correct? My scythe is 195-340, spd 2.6 btw.(Praying I get a damage slice) But it seems any post recounting battles with NS elders, everyone is using their hammers. So, which is it?

I had the unfortunate experince of fighting a Nightsister Elder last night. I'm a Master Swordsman, my Scythe is 2.0 spd, 192-321 dmg. I found I did more damage to witch with my Scythe than my Hammer, cannot recall stats at the moment, but I was slaughtered just the same.

Ow, no wonder we didn't last long, the only other person fighting her was a TKM and a Novice Pistoleer . . .

OK, I'm confusing my NS's then. I coulda sworn elders were one of the ones that didn't have special protection to kinetic. Looks like I'll stick with the hammer. Thanks for the responses.

I'm actually gonna go hunt them with my friend who is a master rifle/master teras kasi. We'll soften the witches up as much as we can with rifles before at least one, or both of us get up close and personal with her. I like our chances.

Shi, if I remember correctly, Elders have heavy AR, and 25% resists to Blast and energy. PH is the only way to go for these guys. Hopefully, a nice acklay one

Use the hammer. And the sythe for all the other NS's.

elders are 25% blast 25% energy 100% everything else and AP3

and when they get down to 1/4 HAM there res start to drop so the TK tanks can start to use unarmed HeadHit to compliment your HeadHit. o and they also start to run at 30k HAM. They will turn directly around and run so make sure you have them set up correctly (ie so they will run in the direction you want them to and not into more NS freinds, unless you are looing for a party)

Kill them all the time.

Now the singing mountain clan elders have 85% spec blast, they are about the same HAM and stuff.

I just solo'd three yest morning, took me only about 10 min each....key is to have master brawler, and always have an intimidation 2 stuck on them, also have nov medic to drop occasional self-heals....

weapon...I use my power hammer, it is 641 max, and i have +20 speed attachments, so i'm at the cap....big difference in using it vs my 264-419 scythe!

My only beef, elder drop rates are awful!!!

I soloed 1 the other day. Took me about 15 minutes but other than when she KD'd me for a few seconds nothing got too bad. I averaged 1k per hit and my PH isn't all that great. 1 hit down, 349 to go! Just make sure to get the other nightsisters away from her before you start...

Is it possible without self heals (some doc) and without master brawler?

Ive tried a few and if i dont keep my bike handy im toast...PH headhitting btw and hardly denting the B*%ch.

Keeping the bike out is risjy too...nothing worse than seeing a pathing bug and she one shots your bike-(

i solo elders(and have done since they used force powers)at the moment there easy, im master brawler too and intimidate 2 is great for these girls i also have nov medic also just for use when you take a hit thru that nasty armour hole just warcry the girl and heal yourself till your healths back full. should take between about 15-25 mins depending on your hammer(acklays are lovely)remember to always cob and intimidate youll be fine

p.s i used to have no medic at all but soon learned that no matter the defences that armour holes a killer and even stim b's help you get sorted

ohhh and the above guide does not apply when they get dibilitate back, then all i can suggest is bring friends :
