God you guys weren't kidding.My altand my TK friend killed 2 of these last night. The TK was there mainly to make sure she stayed Intimidated the whole time. It took a good 15 minutes per Elder, but until they hit the armor hole they arn't too bad.

And they DO use force powers in strange cases. I was fighting on e the other day and had to retreat after getting hit in the armor hole. The Elder proceeded to kill a bunch of spiders in teh area. When I went back to "finish her off" poof straight off she's shooting me with lightning and getting in my mind blinding/stunning/intimidating me all at once.

Needless to say I lost that one.

Well i have solo'd an elder twice and on other occasions had a doc/tka and rifleman with me for more then a couple times and the power hammer is ur only friend. Im sorry whoever posted that the scythe is better for the elder, that sh.t is funny, i know u posted that u might have gotten mixed up with NS and something else but it was just funny to me. Intimidate works and when the b.tch hits ur armor holes, u better heal ur sh.t or its nighty nite for ya hehe. The only problem i have is that the drops r awful and elders take so much condition off ur armor. The rates of a good drop happening r like 2 out of 12. Most of the drops r just bad. Stick with krayts, better loots in my opinion lol

Well, we went witch hunting last night. When we found an elder, it had friends. So, we tried to pick off the friends first, but on the 2nd they all aggro'd. Not a pretty sight when you have an elder in the mix. We fled the scene. I have to say though any other NS is just about child's play with that scythe. We ended up with a poison dot lance and 9 heavy leathers. It was fun. Definitely going back soon. One of the motivations for going swordsman was the difficulties I was having with NS's. This was my first time fighting them as a master and I must say I was very pleased.

Can the elders be solo'd by a swordsman..note not a swordsman/ medic or swordsman/master brawler template...but a swordsman solo with no other fighting skills beyond that of master swordsman.

if some yes' come in id appreciate some tactic help please , cos elders are the only bad nighsisterbiotches that 100% kick my butt

well...as master doctor and 4443 swordsman i cant solo an elder, and i dont see how it would be possible at master. i have top quality weapons, armor and buffs and i cant see it happening ( mainly..how could i keep my mind up that long) I would have no problem with keeping up normal ham damage...but mind damage. /salute to the guys that solo this stuff, i wish i knew your mind tricks.

As far as protectors, spell weavers, initiates, and all those other lower class nightsisters are no problem. Kimos on lok are easy. i soloed the tusken witch doctor once (got lucky) that was with blast hammer. no loot

Its the stalkers that have 100% resist to all but blast and kinetic. An FYI, in case we hadn't got that straight yet.

Go to the NS Stronghold POI on Dathomir. Often find them in and around there. I'm gonna have to go back soon myself. Since my last hunt I have added a 243-440 damage scythe, a 825 max damage acklay PH, and +12 in 2h speed AA's to my arsenal. Can't wait to see what kind of difference all that makes

Elders are soloable for Master Swordsman with or without Medic/Doc skills. But, it is a helluva lot safer with some form of heals. Be sure to have musician Focus/Willpower buff, Brandy, and Canapes on hand--and a muon just in case she gets you KD'd or gets in too many headshots for whatever reason.

As others have said--Intimidate, Center, 2h Headhit 3, and bleed til she stops swinging back and finally takes a dirt nap. Also, bring a spare chestplate and an armor repair tool if you plan to make an evening of hunting them. Hardly worth the damage they do to our armor, but a nice trophy kill for the ego.

If you want to get silly, take on a Spiderclan Elder--same HAM, AR3, 100% to most, 85% Blast, and one other is the low resist at a mere 80%. Much harder fight--bring friends.

They used to use them all the time, then quit for a while. After the notice came out that they had fixed (on tc)the nightsisters not using force powers, the next elder i fought started using force powers when it was down to 1/4 mind.
