Thread: Novice Doc or Master Brawler
Master Brawler may not add offensive strikes but it adds quite a bit of extra modifiers (accuracy, speed, defense). If you can do MTK, Doc 4004 you can get either: MBrawler with Sword 0034 or just Sword 1444. I wonder if the extra Sword specials are worth it or do you get enough specials with 0034 and add the MBrawler modifiers?
I would like MSword but I really like the abilities Doc 4004 give you and the Innate Armor of a MTK. This won't be the best damage dealing template as PH won't be availble but from all the forum reading I've done it seems that the Scyth or Katern Knuckles will be pretty close in damage.
This make sense? I haven't play MSword so I might be way off here - advice is requested!!!

Based on all I've read it seems thatDoc 4000 or 0004 with MSword is the way to go with PvP but for PvE or group PvP I might be better off with theDoc 4004 and play with which levels of sword - determining if Head Hit is better than Power Hit and determine 4144 or 4414 (I think I got those right).
Now it's just determining what I want to do!! Thanks again.

After further testing (i am in continuous /respec bug), I have found that the xxx4 doc buffs are far outclassed by most food / drink available these days and feel it may be wasted skillpoints. I am very heavily leaning toward TKM, Msword, 4xxx Doc as a great PvE template. The buffs that I feel are very nice are the mind and attack speed buffs as the action and health buffs are minimal (10%). Even with enhancers your buffs at xxx4 are not as impressive as most of the food / drink out there. We will also have to see what happens once the doc improvements are put in place, but I think they are improving the healing line and not the buffing line.

I don't understand your question. Msword + Mpike only has points left for 4xxx doc or Novice combat medic....

Spamming Specials = Death in PvP, you have to watch your action/mind if you want to be effective.
As far as the Knuckles of Katarn being better then Power Hammer or N-K Executer they are no match for the swords. I have the knuckles of Katarn and i hit for alot less with those then i do with my swords. You notices a big damage diffrence in PvP.
My advice to you is to definatly get master swordsman if you plan on doing good damage.
