hmm i forsee a nerfing if we get a action decrease i do...
right now i see us as pretty much balanced. and once i get into range of a range person they are pretty much dead as it is... all it takes is a few hits and they normally go down.
yep, armor break, adv critical, headhit, KD, power attack, headhit = dead in 10 seconds if not faster (by puting the KD in the middle of the combo you prevent them from healing damage =) ) Drink a little corellian ale (+200 melee accuracy) right before and you wont miss. You can usually get all of these attacks off in one action bar if you use -SAC pups

i can see what you guys are saying about us being balanced but i still dont think that we have the damage of a 5
i think we do... but i think fencer damage is to high...
they have more a damage rating of 5 instead of 4.

The first thing that I would want to know is: What is the action cost of your weapon?
My alt is a Swordsman/TKM and he uses a power hammer. My main toon is a weaponsmith so I have the luxury of trying any number of experimental weapon combinations. I have found that a low Skill Action Cost weapon is really the way to go.
With all of the experimentation points put into a high DPS, the SAC of a power hammer is 130. This is really on the high side. It is possible to have the same max damage and get the SAC down to 110. This makes a huge difference.
It is also possible to use a powerup to lower SAC even further. You can also use action regen enhancing foods. There are a large number of ways to minimize your action usage in the current combat system. You simply need to find one that works for you.

Your SAC is simply incredible. The max damage is kinda low. My alt's hammer is 1011 max damage and that is with a normal advanced core in it.
This have a Red Genosian powercube -11 SAC crafted by a +2 WS. The damage I lose, I gain in more action; more attacks and less actioncosts on my states (ArmorBreak, intimidate, dizzy ect..). Damage is useless if you dont have the action.
Got a bunch of these hammers, and will slice em all soon =)

Are you serious? Crafted fencer weapons will MAYBE hit 700 max dmg but not likely. The only way we do any kind of dmg is b/c of ROTW loot weapons. You guys are also faster then us, which doesn't make any sense. Granted we are supposed to be DOT specialists which is a joke, b/c our bleed hits for 100 dmg with maybe 2 ticks over 19 seconds. That is not damage. I had to take swords to have any kind of dmg special at all.

lol yeah and you guys get more accuracy and spd than fencers....go figure
swordsman should have high SAC...cuz they hit way harder
