Thread: Flamining, Energy, Acid Swords????
Should we not get different types of dmg as well![]()
Also can anyone confirm if the cleaver was originally Energy Dmg because when game was released i wanted to know the difference between 2h and cleaver and the details menu stated Energy now it says kenetic.
Otats Eclipse- Out of 3 week retirement
It would be nice if Kinetic was seperated into Slashing and Bashing damage though... give us SOME variety.
I see what ur saying but a ph with blast, thats the same thing is it not, Im just saying we should have different dmg types, and I definately agree with what you said but do u really think the devs would add all that.
How Difficult would it be to have a Sword or Axe with a "Heat Mechanisim", "Cold/Cryo Mechanisim", "Acid Coating", "Electified Sicks" (Hell Local Cops have those
).....Doesn't seem too far out there to me.
It would also Add some uniqueness to the Items in the game....an area it is lacking in.....Everyone is running around with the same gear for the most part these days ![]()
You make a good point, +it adds weapons to a class definatly in nead of some (
no scythe yet), but someday we will have a diverse selection.
DEV's lookout im stirring up trouble
keep posting peolpe this is good input
I am in the camp that wants to see new weapons, but not 15th century Earth style swords. The tree is called swordsman, but could easily have just been called two-handed melee. We have enough swords in all the other fantasy games, I would like some more sci-fi type two-handed weapons.
For example, a heat based two-handed weapon could take the form of a "fusion cutter"ie large blowtorch/welding tool. A cold based weapon could be some sort ofhigh techfire extinguisher. There are a lot of possibilities without resorting to the same old "flaming sword of troll slaying +2" types.
Since Star Wars is science fiction you could put in almost any thing and it would fit as long as the explanation was purely technological and had no "mystical" or "magical" references.
Who is to say therecouldn't bea metal with acidic qualities, or some materialthathas such high resistencethat the friction caused by a current passing through itwould make the blade extremely hot?
I like the fusion cutter idea =D That sounds nifty...
