Hello my fellow Swordsman,

This notion of having swords which can do various types of damage is quite and interesting idea. Our swords are definetely the right sizes to fit what ever mechanisms needed for such affects on the grip and hilt. I also feel that we need the weaponsmith to be able to use various materials to make out of the ordinary blades.

Examples:

A blade who's cutting edge is made of some harden crystal rather then just metal. Given an extremely sharp edge cause one to be able to break through other armed weaponary defence easier. ( i am thinkingalong the line of one sword being able to cut another sword but being representedin the drop of the oppenents defense) ( And to answer the question what happens if both opponents have the same sword well like 2equal things of anything confronting each other they cancel out)

A blade which is black in color making it difficult for your opponent to face you at night. ( this one is not to hard so needs no imagery helper)

A blade with jagged edges which in turn causes more wounds. ( image of some kind of sword with a saw like edge to really be able to dig deep into the flesh of the opponent or the hard outer skin of a critter)

A blade that has a hidden mechanism that lets it extend in length to increase distance between opponents given wielder better defense but slightly weaker offense. ( image of a sword that has multiple layers on it and extends out like an extending buton when snapped really hard, the blade would have a sort of button to create this feet) ( this should temporarly increase your ideal range cause other melee opponents to have to try to get closer to hit while you back away)

And lets not leave out ablade that has a slight turning mechanism also cause more wounds. ( image of a blade stabbed into an opponent and while still inpaled the hilt has a torque mechenism on it assist in twisting the sword deeper into the opponent opening the wound wider)
