I just mastered swordsman and was looking to do some PvP but it seems to me that swordsman are not very good PvP. If anyone has some combos that work well in PvP please post.

Swordsman is VERY good in PvP if you have master brawler and you wear bioengineered clothing with bonuses to intimidate and warcry. Several Teras Kasi Masters died because of my mighty warcry. Several BH's cried nerf because I owned them.

lol, get buffed, put on an armor, and go kill commandos and riflemen with one hit, everything else ranged with a few hits if they are stupid enough not to run away, use mind bleed on tkas and then run for your life

I'm master heavy swordsman, master brawler atm. I Also have ranged support 4 in marksman. Rght now i am working up to master rifleman. Im human with all mind stats at 1000, and have access to master doc buffs. For pvp i have a set of 80%+ composite. On paper it sounds like a sound combo. Long range dizzy/posture down, FOUR mind bleeds, lots of good mind hits, ranged DB and ae dizzy, and all the goodies from master brawler. I cant wait till i finish leveling rifleman

btw i also have BE shirt +warcry/intimidate. Can you also get a bandolier with int/warcry? That would be nice, since a tailor told me the max i could get on a shirt was +17.(25 being the total maximum)

I've talked to a former master swordsman some & he says the class isn't that good.

In PvP:

- Defenseless against KD, melee, & ranged

- Can't hit moving players

- Mind Bleed stacking which is being nerfed

KD is overrated in my experience, but I'm a master doctor, so dizzy/blind/stun whatever doesn't concern me in the slightest, KD/Dizzy is a big problem if you don't have /healstate, but you can get master brawler, master heavy swordsman, master medic and 0430 doctor which is enough to buff yourself, revive and cure states - buffs are indispensable, the HAM cost for our weapons is insane, without migrating all your stat points into mind and buffing the other 6 stats you'll find you rapidly run out of HAM.

As a master heavy swordsman you CAN one-shot players if you connect, but accuracy is pretty terrible at the moment - see about getting a more accurate power hammer made up (you can get them down to about -8 accuracy, which admittedly is still crap, but it's better than a -30 one that's been designed for damage - high damage is no good if you never hit the target).

I find I only use the bleeds against BIG or multiple targets, smaller targets are usually dead before the bleed ticks.

I personally love the class, mainly because we're a little bit odd, I don't like seeing everyone and their mother being a TKA or Rifleman and we kick ass in PvE.

Yeah, I enjoy the class too, but find that accuracy of the weapon is the most fustrating thing, and the accuracy while moving issue is even more prominent in PvP cus most ranged players just run in circles!

Hopefully, many of these issues will be resolved in the combat revamp, although I have heard that TKs are being stripped of KD/Dizzy simply because of its griefing ability to keep someone down all the time with no chance to fight back.

Lets just wait and see..

well, I just now thought of saying stuff about my new class. first off, I think tk's should not beable to diz/KD. Well, just not in pvp. Or find some way to make it not as good. Dam Tk's think they own the world, pffft I cant take anything down in two-4 hits. Unless they have high blast armor. I love it, not many people take the time to buff their mind. Heh, I was dueling this one guy for fun, I won. Then we went again, heh he took a mind drug, so I just hit for health. heh, I said no no no

I don't believe you wankers, screaming for a nerf on TKA's... TKA is the only profession that actually works right, and you want to have it nerfed????? If TKA's didn't have KD dizzy how else would we combat Kiting??? its impossible to take on a kiting ranged fighter without either warcrying, posture down or KD/dizzying him in any order... you people make me sick, and btw i am a Novice sword heading for Master and i agree our accuracy is too low, but for god sakes, leave the TKM's alone

My guild is full of pistolleers/smugglers, commandos, and BHs and i still win every pvp match and i anit a master swordsman yet, just 0,3,0,2.

Here is how. Duel then charge place one bleed then run and hide. there to busy spaming attacks to do anything about there bleed if they even notice there bleeding. then hit them with a lounge 2 and mind hit 3 once of twice and there dead.

I agree with the leave TKA alone because there are the only working profession in the game. Woot for them.

Can't wait to try the scythe in combat that baby is fast.
